Aba, meaning father in Hebrew, is a Mediterranean restaurant with a California influence. The menu features Chef CJ Jacobsonโs modern approach to Mediterranean cooking and the beverage program showcases spirits and rare wines from lesser known Mediterranean regions.

a week agoAba Austin is a very well known name for its ambience and vibe. It definitely keeps up the expectations and experience. The service was good they do have an outdoor bar area if you donโt get a table you can stand near the bar counter and enjoy a drink. Donโt expect the drinks to be cheaper. They were definitely up the scale. Food was very very underwhelming, I could probably name many restaurants which donโt have such a good name who can make better appetizers and dips. The Whipped feta was a disaster. Over salted food. I was surprised to see the quality and taste of the dishes very disappointing. Overall I would go here for the vibe but not for the food.

a month agoAba offers a vibrant, upscale dining experience with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors in a chic, airy setting. The menu features fresh, shareable dishes. Spicy garlic hummus was so delicious, I have never had hummus this smooth. The drinks menu includes creative cocktails and a well-curated wine list. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, with attentive service. It is an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions, offering a memorable dining experience in Austinโs competitive food scene.

2 months agoOne of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The decor is as beautiful as it gets, and the food is excellent. The only issue is that it can be hard to get a seat. They also have excellent cocktails, and their vanilla soft serve with olive oil and sea salt is delicious. This is on our short list of places to bring out-of-town friends. All the food is great here. Itโs all high quality, well prepared, and flavorful.

2 weeks agoWe recently had friends visiting us from Boston, and we decided to take them to Aba for Saturday brunch. Let me just sayโwhat an incredible experience! We made reservations ahead of time, and everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations. We ordered nearly everything from the brunch menu, including dips and hot mezzes, and every single dish was an absolute delight. Everything came out fresh and tasted phenomenal. The muhammara and burnt garlic hummus were crowd favorites. The falafel and Brussel sprouts were made to perfection. The desserts were equally impressiveโthe sticky date cake was an absolute star, and the cheesecake with its delicate puff pastry crust on top was unforgettable. Although the interior ambiance was exquisite, we opted to sit outside by the bar due to the size of our party and the perfect weather, which added to the charm of the experience. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and courteous, enhancing the overall great vibe of the place. Aba truly delivered a memorable dining experience. If youโre in town, this place is a must-visit! Delicious food, excellent service, and an all-around amazing brunch spot. Five stars all the way!
