9 months agoI've driven by this place many times, and today, I was actually doing an inspection around this area and decided to go in and check out. This little store was greeted with a smile, and you're welcome, and they walked around and checked everything. They had a lot of things from the Middle East, which I was very curious about, so I bought a few things just to try them. And it was a very nice little spot. Hopefully, I'll go back at some point. I also bought some oil for fragrance. It was very nice and well priced.

2 months agoRecently changed ownership. So maybe this will change but on my Sept 3024 visit, I wasn't able to find several common items on my list: hibiscus leaves (kerkedeh), sausage (merguez/ sojuk), double creme Danish cheese. Many of the prices were not found by scanning. There's stale bread and lack of options for baked goods. I was surprised by the total bill, which was higher than expected.

10 months agoSmall, clean, and friendly store. I enjoyed the Iraqi Kamer or Gamer. I mixed it with raw honey and it was a tasty treat that reminded me of childhood. The Iraqi bread is fantastic. It is similar to Egyptian Roqaq which used to be home baked by my mother. Its aroma when dried reminded me of stored roqaq during my childhood. I love the Iraqi bread. It is a great feeling to help small businesses in our community.
