a month agoThey were fast and efficient. I was able to be scheduled for a same day ultrasound appointment. Claudia at the front desk was awesome and Laurel M did an amazing job as the tech. She made me feel relaxed and at ease. Thank you both for making something that I felt uneasy about, an easy thing. Much appreciated.

a month agoDoctor, nurses, every one was great. However the AC was broken (has been for months). The room I was in easily got to over 90 degrees. This place should not be open. The hardworking teams here deserve a better work environment. Wait time was more than 5hrs.

2 months agoThe intake/triage nurse was extremely rude , I am taken back and wonโt be returning. I am not one to complain but I was in severe pain and she was making it a lot worse with her condescending remarks and attitude. After I told her that I wanted someone else she raised her voice and said โNO you can get out.โ It wasnโt until we asked for her supervisor that she went away. It was The nurse with slightly above shoulder length curly hair and name starts with M I believe shouldnโt even be seeing patients if sheโs like that. Only reason why Iโm giving two stars and or one is because the nurse that I was assigned to later was a lot more kind and warm, but the intake/triage really threw me off guard. Probably one of the most horrible encounters I have had with a so called โprofessionalโ who apparently has been working for Adventist โfor years.โ

a month agoShady Grove only got 1 star because i couldnt give 0 stars. Shady Grove had little to no costumer service. We were in this hospital for 5 hours. After the doctors gave us a result we had to wait an additional 2 hours for the discharge papers. Our nurse name was Jenni H RN. Which she went to every new patient and didnt come back for at least 3 hours. And we asked for our discharge papers 4 times before we actually got our discharge papers. Shady Grove is the longest waiting emergency with little to no paitents to treat.

5 months agoSeveral things: 1. No proper intake upon arriving. They have you sit and wait before asking what is wrong with you. That is not how triage should be done in an emergency room. I sat there for about an 1hr before someone at the front desk gathered my information. At the time there were only 2 patients in the lobby. It seemed more of a clinic than actual ER. 2. Attitude of intake nurse who did vital signs was very non chalant and uncaring. 3. I was in excruciating pain for hours and had to voice this several times during the wait to be put in a room. The ER was not packed at all keep that in mind. 4. The nurse assigned to me was very short in her words and showed no empathy. There were two other nurses there during the duration of my stay that seemed very polite on the other hand. 5. After a few tests, the doctor discharged me without any diagnosis or prescriptions for pain management and my symptoms!! There were so many things wrong with the entire visit and the demeanor from particular staff that seemed PREJUDICED. I left feeling even more sick after leaving. I now have to choose between going back to the ER or just staying home and muscling through the pain and hoping it is a bug that will pass. I recommend going with someone if you can who vouch for you.
