Al Badawi is a lively restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. We use the best ingredients and provide a great atmosphere. Looking forward to hosting you soon!
I visited Brooklyn a few years ago, and ate beside this restaurant so I made a mental note to come back again. Came here in Feb while on a trip to NYC, and we trekked out to Brooklyn specifically to show support to an awesome local Palestinian restaurant.
It was a busy night when we walked in, but they still seated us and the vibes were bustling inside. Service was fast but not as attentive in terms of filling up water etc, but no fault of their own!! They were incredibly busy and doing their best, as this is a family run business. The food was bomb, love zaatar always. The hummus was so authentic and fresh, delicious, and same with the fresh hot pita that came with. My partner's platter was also very filling for him.
Hope we get to visit again!
Beware, the portions are big! Regardless of its lamb, beef, chicken or the homemade pita bread, everything was delicious. Be sure to make reservation prior as the venue gets packed. As there are 2 friendly staff for the entire floor, please be patient with them.
Middle Eastern restaurant serving fresh and delicious food. We sat at the bar and got a great view of the staff making fresh pita (which was fluffy and chewy). Our main dish was a fall off the bone tender lamb in a seasoned rice mixed with some veggies. The spice flavor was outstanding and the dish was filling.
Service was friendly and top notch, overall a great experience and highly recommend.
The place has a modern feel, very pretty decorations. There was a bit of a wait on Friday night so recommend making a reservation. The service is very friendly. The food was good and I would definitely come back to try more dishes.
5 stars to support a local business.
The food is definitely meant to cater to a non-middle eastern audience. The food was lacking in salt and flavor, but was still tasty and enjoyable to eat.
Portions were okay. Iโd read a lot of reviews saying generous portions, but we ended up paying about $28 for 5 small pieces of beef kabob with rice.
We also got the lamb shank, which was delicious. The mezze appetizer was also quite good, but all of the mezze could have used more salt.
