Al-Madrasa Al-Islamiya is one of the oldest Islamic Academic institutions in the State of New York. It has played a considerable role in helping many students in the fields of Islamic academic enrichment. Some of our students have been accepted into many specialized science high schools and programs. Also our students graduate with regents credit in Algebra and Biology.

4 years agoIts a good school... I'd recommend u enroll your kids here at 7th grade. The uniform is strict.. Bathroom isn't very clean..lunch isn't the best.. But the teaching is good. And making friends is pretty easy...masjid is pretty clean... Not bad school.. I graduated this year

3 years agoIf your a Muslim parent, donโt look any further. This school is the most beautiful and gorgeous down-to-earth place you could ever enroll your child in. The daily prayers are in the masjid and a real sheikh comes down every Friday and gives a lecture for Salat Al-Jummah. The lunch, compared to any other public is the best. The education readies students for high school. Some of the teachers are converts and even as a kid listening to why Islam drew them in, always fascinated my class and I. And the little kids learn the regular curriculum as they would in any school but with Arabic and Quran. The teachers that teaches the kids are very motivating and each time my niece comes home, sheโs telling me either a new duaa or a new surah that she learned. The friends you make here are life-long. The school is very small, so itโs truly like a family here. I was a student here, as was my mother and now my niece. Iโm telling this just to let you know that if your looking for a school for pre-k - 8th, this is the only place that I can say is the best of the best. May Allah bless the teachers and the workerโs there ุงู ูู.

3 years agoThis school is affordable, the teachers work hard to make sure the children are on level and beyond even the lower grades. Administration struggles with technology and needs to work on communication with the parents. Inshallah my daughter enters high school with a language regents credit!

4 years agoThis school is actually really nice but there are a couple of problems like some teachers are not qualified enough like when I used to go we had a joke that a certain teacher was found on the streets I have joined this school in 2nd Grade and to be honest the teachers are nice if you do good in classes but the kids find downsides to everything like some kids(including me) used to make fun of the walls and say they are made out of cardboard but this school is doing the best they could with the low money that they get because unlike other schools they arenโt supported by the government and it gets hard but this school has fought through those hard times and I wish for it to never close and I wish for it to just expand Inshallah

7 years agoI love this school. I have one child who's been in it for two years and I'm enrolling his sister next year too. I'm glad I found this Islamic school.
