a month agoVery interesting place. There is quite an assortment of canned and packaged foods for those who are Islamic and may need things that are blessed. They have a great assortment of meats, fish, and poultry that arrive once or twice a week. The owner is quite a gentleman and very accommodating. They have a nice worker stocking the shelves and the place is fairly clean. If in fact you are looking for these types of products that are Middle Eastern based, this is the place you need to go. It is right opposite the Cross County shopping Center on the south side of Central Avenue. By the way, they have a lot of fresh produce and fruits as well. Keep them in mind.

6 months agoI love shopping at this store. Their groceries are of excellent quality, and I plan to continue shopping there. However, I recently purchased dates that had mold on them. It's unusual, so I suggest they check the freshness of their products to avoid selling old items

3 months agoI'm so impressed with this family-owned grocery store! The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure I find the right products. Their halal meat selection is exceptional, and I particularly love their lamb meat - it's always fresh and tender. They also carry a wide variety of spices and Middle Eastern-style foods, making it a one-stop shop for all my needs. Highly recommend!

9 months agoThis place is amazing. I was so excited to find them and called before to ask if they would make me a basboosa cake and tray of kunafa for my dads birthday. They did that same day, and it was one of the best we have had in a long time. My dad was so surprised and so happy. It was beautifully made and the owner was incredibly kind and gave me some great insight on the best ways to reheat. I love this place, and even though itโs about an hour away from me I will come back soon. I want to try so many more things! They have so many wonderful speciality items and other home made goodies I am looking forward to trying.

2 years agoThanks to the NY vlogger who posted pics of his meals in Istanbul. Made me want some Middle Eastern food. Ordered from a place called Al Rayyan in Yonkers - 4 shawarmas and falafels. OMG were they delicious. Fresh, fat with filling and seasoned nicely. Not at all greasy or "too much of stuff." Even reheated they were good. I looked them up and discovered they were a supermarket, too! Friendly and helpful service. Not a huge place but very well stocked. What I bought are the first few pictures. Of course, I had to buy their homemade pistachio baklava and warbat. FYI - You can stop by or order their food via Grubhub/Seamless. Very reasonably priced and yummy.
