a year agoThe atmosphere is great and the staff is superb! She lent me a book Our Syria Recipes from Home. The content is beautiful and sad at the same time. I had a mixed feeling after skimming it. Moussaka came with a salad. I thought it wasnโt much but I could barely finish it. The portion was more than it looked. The sliced eggplant itself has a bit stronger seasoning so the salad brought it back to balance. One downside is that the menโs restroom smells. I mean itโs dominated by the smell of ammonia. If itโs resolved, Iโd give this restaurant five stars.

a month agoSuch a good vibe at night and really yummy food. I got the vegetarian trio with baba ghanooj, muhummara, and tabooleh. It was truly delicious. We also got the cheese pie and I soo recommend it!

11 months agoMy date and I split a bunch of appetizers and salads. Mujadara, sleek, tabbouleh, mohamara, baba ghanooj, hummus, and artichoke hearts. Flavors, textures, freshness, variety were all exceptional. The use of spices in the dishes was exceptionally well done. Not overpowering, but not subtle. The presentation beautiful. The tabbouleh was fresh and crisp, tomatoes firm and fresh, the parsley not overpowering, and too bitter. The mujadara was earthy, the mohamara was a complex mix of sweetness and tart. Based on appetizers alone, I would love to come back and try an entree. Lots of options for vegetarians or vegans. The interior was clean and elegantly simple interior. The appetizers sampler of 3 appetizers for 15-16 was a great value. Two of them combined perfectly to give a lot of option and was perfect for the two of us.

a year agoWanted a light dinner and went with the spinach lentil soup. For $5, it was plentiful and so worth it with the pita being warm and comforting. Picking up my order I went happy as the lady smiled handing me my bag as well as giving me extra cutlery. Super nice people and good food as well!
