I feel that having the right real estate agent means having an agent who is committed to helping you buy or sell your home with the highest level of expertise in your local market. This means also to help you in understanding each step of the buying or selling process. This commitment level has helped me build a remarkable track record of delivering results.

6 months agoMy husband and I purchased our very first home through Coldwell Banker Realty. Our realtor was David Russi. Several issues with the home were supposed to be fixed prior to move-in. My husband and I were reassured that those issues had been fixed and that there was proper documentation showing that those issues had been fixed. Shortly after moving in, the HVAC system started leaking. That was an issue that was supposed to be taken care of prior to move-in. Although David was helpful at first, he quickly went quiet on us once the extent of the issue was uncovered. Whomever installed the HVAC system - a brand new system - did not install it properly. The entire unit would have to be taken apart and put back together or replaced altogether. David ghosted us. Meanwhile, we could not run the heat in December, January, or February. Instead we had to rely on emergency heat. Our electric bills were through the roof. Insurance was only willing to cover so much of the cost, leaving us with a $1300 bill. We could not afford to fork over that much money after just moving into a new home. But more importantly, we should not have had to pay anything. The HVAC system was supposed to be fixed prior to move-in. David ignored my husband's attempts to get in touch with him for weeks and weeks. Only when I called the office asking around for some help did he get back in touch with my husband. He explained that he had gone through a loss in his family and had intended for another realtor to work with us in his absence. But nobody ever contacted us. And had David let us know he was dealing with something in his personal life, we would not have felt abandoned. But since that call, David has again stopped communicating with us. A VP at Coldwell Banker Realty, Tracy Butler Coe, called my husband. She said that my husband and would have to cover the $1300, but that Coldwell Banker Realty would reimburse us $500. A slap in the face. We were guaranteed the issue would be fixed prior to move-in. It obviously wasn't. Coldwell Banker Realty, specifically David Russi, is at fault. They should cover the cost themselves. We should not owe a dime. My husband asked David for the paperwork showing the HVAC system was fixed prior to move-in. He has never produced the paperwork. My husband is also a veteran. Which David knew and Coldwell Banker Realty knew. This is his very first home, a home he worked hard for. What a disgrace this company is. They have millions upon millions, yet they can't pay $1300 for a mistake they made? DO NOT WORK WITH COLDWELL BANKER REALTY OR DAVID RUSSI. PS: Our septic system and sewer lines also failed shortly after move-in. We were unable to use our toilets or showers for 2 weeks. Nobody helped us with that, either.

2 years agoWil was amazing! He made our home buying process easy and not stressful at all. Very professional and not once was he pushy. He was very patient with us and helped us find the perfect home for our family. So grateful to find such a great agent to work with!

3 years agoMy experience with my agent from this agency, John Grosse, was spectacular. Ask for him if buying or selling. He is the most ethical person I've ever done business with and he got me top dollar for my home and one of my close friend's homes. I would not recommend using their recommended title company though, Quality Title Agency in Pickerington. My experience with Danielle was not up to par. You are free to use whomever you want, and I wish I had checked her reviews beforehand.
