2 months agoMore than 5.5 weeks after a surgery, I received a text message saying I have a bill posted on some website. Then I received one more text message later and then another text message a few days later. I was told by my doctor and nurses that all bills will be MAILED to me, NOT text messaged to me. Things have been really busy but I finally had time to look into this today only to find out that the bill is due 3 days from now and I still have NOT received a billing statement! I was NOT told about this company from my doctor or the nurses the day before or the day of the surgery, but I looked up their review only to see that they just do NOT mail (or email) bills like a normal healthcare facility. I am extremely tired but I took the time to look into this today. Because of years of this unfair practice (there are plenty of garbage text messages being sent around and most people do NOT send money or credit card information to random text messages), I strongly recommend this company to START mailing out billing statements. At least the initial contact with the recovering patient should be on paper. Or if they really want to save on that stamp, then an email!

2 months agoLike others who have left reviews, the only notice I received from this company was a shady text message saying I needed to click a link to pay my bill. The company name was generic which raised my suspicions that this was a phishing attempt and I ignored thinking that surely Iโd receive a bill in the mail if this was legit. But after receiving another message, I decided to google the company name to find that others had the same experience. After seeing that others were sent to collections I went ahead and paid the bill, simply crossing my fingers that I wasnโt giving my cc info to a fraudster but this is an unbelievably terrible experience.

8 months agoNever received a bill in the mail or any calls but my bill was sent to a collections agency. Trying to resolve with Anesthesia Co, LLC - but its taking over 1 month to get communications addressed with them. They definitely need better and more appropriate billing processes. I wish the surgeon did not work with this company.

5 months agoI had surgery in February of 2020 when my hand had been literally bitten in half by a loose dog half my weight. I had emergency surgery. I called this company and explained that this was a lawsuit and we were waiting for a settlement w the at fault party. I was told that they do not refer such accounts to collectors. This was in April 2020. Fast forward I found out last night due to a credit alert that I had been referred to collection for default.. this company never once called me to follow up-OR to request payment. I would say do not use this company for your medical needs but when you roll up in an ambulance w your hand hanging by a thread you may not have much of a choice. Best of luck to those reading. Thank you for your time.

11 months agoI would also give ZERO STARS if it was an option. I never got any warning/bills in the mail. My bills were sent STRAIGHT to collection and I only know because I know have a debt collector hounding me. They never even tried to reach out for a different insurance (which I have and would cover this but now I donโt know what to go to send it to insurance!!). The bill was for my c section for my daughters birth.. they couldโve at least reached out to let me know the wrong insurance was on file. Now Iโm stuck and might have to pay the over $700 bill myself.
