5 months agoWalking around WeHa and my friends and I stopped in for dinner. We sat at the bar and ended up having the best night. The sticky ribs are tender, and the sauce was out of this world. I never had Korean Fried cauliflower but let me tell you that I will have it again. So crispy and flavorful. The calamari is also crispy and delicious. Bao buns were to die for. The Mediteranean sampler/hummus sampler is a must if you like hummus. I had a white sangria that was very refreshing and my friends had Blood Orange margaritas. Great drinks!! We met the chef/owners Mike and Chris. They were so welcoming. The pictures around the restaurant are of Chris and her family members. What a lovely touch. I'll be back and be sure to go on a Tue or Wed night for half-price appetizers.

11 months agoWe stopped in for social hour on a Saturday afternoon when they opened. First of all, I love that they do this on Saturdays! Not many places have happy hour on the weekend. We had a few cocktails and the following apps- Chicken satay, cup and char mini pizza, calamari, and Korean sticky ribs. Everything was very tasty, I'd have all of these again! My top 2, pizza and chicken satay but the calamari was also very delicious. We are definitely planning to come back soon for a full dinner experience. The staff was super friendly, the chef kept coming out of the kitchen to chat with the bar patrons while there was no orders in. Our bartender was helpful and made some great cocktails. Definitely worth checking out if you've never been!

a year agoArugula was one of those places I always passed by and was curious to try, so when my friend asked me to go there with her I was so excited! I knew that they had a lot of Mediterranean influence on the menu but wasnโt expecting the flatbread section of the menu - we ordered two and they were delicious! It was a fine dining vibe with really professional and attentive staff.

10 months agoFor the locals this is a well known place. The flat breads are larger than a good size dinner plate and could feed two. Try the middle eastern taste plate with three different dips. The have to try delicious Lemon cake with berry compote is a 1/4 the size of an entire cake itโs a two person size. Dirty martini excellent and the black manhattan seemed sweet but wasnโt. Good surprise. Total for two 4 drinks two apps and dessert $125 well worth it.

2 months agoFor my first visit to Arugula Bistro, I met a friend for dinner on a Tuesday night. I couldnโt believe how full the restaurant was. It was loud and small with (at least in the area we were seated) tightly arranged tables but I didnโt feel that negatively impacted our dinner. (I still gave Atmosphere 4 stars for that reason.) Our waitress was attentive and the food was delicious! I ordered Fried Brussels Sprouts and a Wild Mushroom Flatbread and it was delicious. My friend ordered Chicken Satay Skewers and Sweet Italian Sausage & Fig flatbread and she raved about it. I will definitely return!!
