Ayala Grocery & Deli

I visited this store twice. The prices for packaged items were reasonable. However, I wouldn't recommend buying fresh/perishable produce here, as some of the items I purchased turned out to be spoiled.

Went to buy a couple of items. When I was going to pay with the card. They were like minimum is 10. My total was 6 dollars. I was like ok let me get a B.L.T. He was charging $6. I'm from the Bronx that's only $4. Nice and toasted juicy well seasoned and all that. I told him this better be good for 6. Bacon better not be burnt. Why did I say that, that looked like he just warmed it up. 2 slices of it and half of the lettuce. Not seasoned, I needed to tell him to put pepper olive oil vinegar. "HOT" more like cold. Lol, the funny part, it was bad and I ended up throwing it away, cause it was drenched with vinegar And he sound annoyed.

Definitely my preferred local bodega. This place has been a great help during the pandemic and even before that. They have everything you would need to get through your day here. You could do some grocery shopping here for all your basic needs and then some. Open usually by 7am i want to say and close usually around 10pm or so. Clean and convient with prices being cheap to fair.

Harable service and noticed that they use a knife then just rinse it to re use. To top it off they dry it with a dirty rag. Never again
