4 months agoI wouldnโt feed this to any living being. Disgusting. 1 Star is way too much. I chose this place following the 4.8โญ๏ธ rate on Google maps. It was a huge mistake. Showed up at the restaurante for a take out, the place looks abandoned. A man was cutting the concrete sidewalk with a big saw. I rang the bell and a young lady with very nasty manners asked me to stay outside and place my order over the phone. Followed her instructions and order lunch for two. I was asked to come back in 10โ. I came back after 15โ and they asked me to wait next to the man with the saw and his loud noise. The lady didnโt even let me in to pay. I had to handle my phone for her to Apple Pay. 8 minutes later, the order was ready and I was able to come back with the food. Once I got home we opened the containers and got completely shocked. What it was inside was the worst meal ever. Almost $50 of gross nauseating food. The beef was black as coal. Dry by many times reheated. The rice overcooked and soggy. The chicken also dry and reheated. Baklava??? Well, this old and dry piece of filo pastry with almost no pistachio at all does not count as baklava. We threw it out without even thinking. If you donโt want to be ripped off, stay away of this place.

4 years agoGreat food , Nice cozy atmosphere andboh my god their Baklava is the original taste of baklava, well balanced, crunchy and not too sweet. You have to try it. The chicken shawerma is flavorful and for the dishes i tried they are good.

5 years agoI liked this place, it is a good option for lunch around the UIC campus. The food was good, and the service was also very nice. You order at the counter, and they bring the food over. The prices were reasonable, and during the first week of January, it was not very busy. The atmosphere and ambiance was also very pleasant.

4 years agoI highly recommend this cozy and superb place!!! The owners are some of the friendliest and kind hearted people Iโve ever met. They make everyone feel so welcome and it shows in the quality of their service and food. I love this restaurant I would eat here everyday. The prices are great, the ingredients taste fresh and their dessert selection is delicious too.
