>Baha’i House of Worship is one of only seven Baha’i temples in the world at present; its building symbolizes unity and invites prayer to God. The Baha’i House of Worship reflects the spiritual truths of the Baha’i Faith: the oneness of God, the oneness of humanity and the oneness of religion. The temple in Wilmette is circular in shape, has nine sides and is surrounded by gardens and fountains. Admission to the area is free, and prayer services are held every day, beginning promptly at 12:30pm. (Prayers are offered in Spanish on the first Sunday of each month at 2:30pm.) The House of Worship Choir sings a cappella music most Sundays.

2 weeks agoClean, peaceful, and scenic place. Washrooms are clean. Welcome center. Limited parking available for free. Visit may last from 45 mins to 2 hours, depending on personal interest.

3 weeks agoEntry : free I am an Architect and I highly recommend everyone to go there irrespective of caste, religion and creed. Everyone is welcome there. I went from Loop, took the metra train to Wilmette and this whole trip costed me only $7. It is a treat for the eyes and will definitely bring you peace. Adding few photos from my unforgettable trip.

The perfect symmetry of this temple is not just jaw-dropping but also a feast for the eyes. Tucked in a flawless spot, it's a must-visit place! Trust me, you've got to see it for yourself!

Such a beautiful place it is The architecture of this place is to the next level...each and every side is beautifully carved It is sooo quite,calm, clean and peaceful Garden surrounding this beautifully landscaped and maintained well This place is open from 6 Am in the morning till 8pm Parking 🅿️ will be little problem here ...its really difficult to get slot during weekends Most people choose this place best for photography especially pre wedding and wedding photography No entrance fee at all to visit this place
