I love Barouk! It's some of the best food in the neighborhood. It's consistently delicious and full of so much flavor that I'm inspired to order something different every time I visit (my pic is the chicken kofta combo with rice and salad). I'm so happy I no longer need to hop on the R to Bay Ridge to enjoy Lebanese food because Barouk nails it every time and at very affordable prices. And the owner is one of the nicest people in the world! Support this local biz!

Great spot in the neighborhood for a quick authentic Middle Eastern bite! Anything with the lamb is great (gyro or platter) Everything is fresh and made to order. The owner is the nicest person. Highly recommend.

We feel welcome and at home every time we visit this small, understated restaurant. The owner is so kind and lovely, and he’s rightfully excited about his food. The chicken shawarma platter is delicious — flavorful, juicy, and the rice is light and fluffy. Everything is made to order. Pro Tip: he just started making homemade lemonade (with a sprig of mint) for the summer. It’s DELIGHTFUL. Not overly sweet like most lemonades, and the slightest hint of mint from the sprig elevates the whole glass.

This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. They have a lot of non-meat, healthy options. I hardly eat out because I’m sensitive to oil-laden, heavily processed foods. Delicious, clean eats here and the owner is welcoming and friendly.
