He is best of the best doctors in Staten Island. We are lucky to have him as surgeon to my husband . Liver and colon surgery was most difficult that he performed on my husband. Good thing he personally keep in touch to his patients until they are totally safe. I must say he is the best doctor and highly recommend him

Dr Azab is a wonderful, caring doctor who understands the anxiety of his patients and puts them at ease. He explains everything clearly and quickly puts one at ease. He performed a surgical procedure and I follow up with him once a year. I highly recommend him.

First & foremost, I want to commend Dr Azab for his exceptional surgical skills & I'd like to express my deepest gratitude for the outstanding care & expertise he provided to me. The complexity of the 9+hour Hepatectomy & my comorbidities presented a difficult challenge, but he handled it with remarkable precision & confidence. His ability to navigate through the intricacies of my surgery & achieve such a successful outcome speaks volumes about his talent & dedication to his life's profession. Aside from his technical skills, I am also so very grateful for the compassionate care he extended to me & his comforting interaction with my Family, throughout the entire process. In addition, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of his unwavering support before, during, & after the surgery. Plus his genuine empathy gave me the courage to face the challenges of my condition head-on, which truly made a difference in my recovery outlook. I would also like to extend my gratitude & acknowledge the exceptional team that supported him in the operating room. The Planning & Collaboration among the anesthesiologists, & other healthcare professionals, including the Nurses, was evident & without a doubt, contributed significantly to the success of the operation & post surgical care. So for whatever time I do have left to remain on God's earth,-I'll be Grateful to Dr. Azab to the very End! When it was discovered that I had a rare and scary cancer I was referred to Dr. Azab. Immediately I knew I was in good hands. He is a skilled and phenomenal surgeon as well as a wonderfully kind man. I would recommend him to anyone.

Where do I begin to tell My story of Dr Azab ? I guess it’s always good to start at the beginning - I went to siuh south a few days before Easter 2001 and was diagnosed appendicitis and was scheduled for surgery the next morning which happened to be a Saturday - I am familiar with most of the surgeons there , being and employee of Northwell -but none of the big name guys were available -they told me Dr Azab would be doing the surgery -Ibwas a bit nervous since I had never heard of him -So I reached out to a few contacts to ask about Dr Azab. My few contacts had nothing but positive things to say so I was pretty comfortable with him doing ny surgery .My surgery was to be a standard laparoscopic Appendectomy and started that way .During the surgery Dr azab noticed a cancerous mass attached to my appendix and immediately took action .A 45 min surgery turned into 3 1/2 hour surgery with Dr Azab meticulously dissecting the cancerous tumor.Pretty sure at this point he might have saved my life. After waking up in the recovery room -I was told DrAzab would be going on vacation the same day - not only did he leave me his personnel number -but stayed in touch with me the entire time till discharge going above and beyond. His bedside manner , knowledge and caring personality left myself and my family very much at ease .Since then I have had a few bumps in the road with other health issues -but continue to keep in touch - he is a true example of what a great doctor /surgeon should be - proud to call him a friend
