3 months agoWe live in the neighborhood and have only ever had amazing meals here. We recommend it to everyone we come across. The pork shank, chicken, labneh, potatoes, and short rib hummus are our favorites, but the whole menu is worth a go! Truly a no skips menu. Chef Allen is a true expert in his craft and a kind soul on top of it, Fiona and Venus took good care of us on our last visit, and the chefโs counter seating gives a nice intimate look at the back of house. Truly cannot recommend the place more.

8 months agoEverything from the food, atmosphere the service was top notch! The appetizer I had hummus with meat, a traditional middle eastern delicacy, it was delicious! Homemade fresh pita that came on its own plate was soft and hot. For an entree I had the octopus dish. It was filling and full of flavor complimented with ingredients that tied it all together. The aesthetics were pleasant and the staff were great, different faces checking in. I had a sweet with my coffee earlier so I passed on the dessert. Definitely a must try place for authentic food with a chefโs touch.

6 months agoA low key spot with an interesting twist on Mediterranean food which unexpectedly tastes amazing. They seem to use influences from all different cuisines and nailed the recipe for the perfect blend. All the sauces in the dishes really highlights the flavors of each dish We ordered the miso baba ghanoush, red beet humus, falafel, half roasted chicken, Brussels sprouts, and bulgar fried rice. I would recommend this all and A perfect amount for 4 people. This place is a top place for me in Brooklyn now. If youโre in the area definitely worthy of peeping

9 months agoA good place for brunch, casual but nice ambiance. Looks good for big groups as they are willing to put together several tables for you. The French toast is huge, could not finish. Gougeres were amazing, a kind of light puffy falafel. Shakshuka was way too spicy, I felt it in my stomach till the end if the day. But I like the freshly baked pita coming with it. Finally the half chicken was very delicious under a thick layer of pesto-like sauce but too oily. Overall definitely worth going and spending some time and money.
