2 months agoGreat Mediterranean food. I had the grape leaves (with meat) which had a nice balance of rice and ground beef. I would definitely recommend and for 6 rolls at $10. The main course I had the Cedar mixed grill with a lamb vegetable soup. The grill came with some beef, lamb and chicken which each had its own unique spices. My favorite was the lamb, beef, then the chicken. All three meats were superb and I would highly recommend the Cedar mixed grill for those that what a little variety. The grill was $22. Between the appetizer and the meal split between two poeple with two teas is more than enough food for $40. Overall a great place with good value. I enjoyed Cedar Grill so much I am planning on eating there again tomorrow.

2 months agoOrder some Cedar Grille! You wonโt regret it. Story time: I used to work right around the corner from here ~4 years ago. I started eating their almond rice salads and I couldnโt stop. The dressing and the fresh-made bread alone were enough to make it my favorite lunch spot. I ended up leaving that job unceremoniously, but I didnโt forget the great food and the kind, personable guy who ran the place. Approximately 4 years later I find myself in need of catering for my wedding reception and it just so happens that my wife and I love Lebanese/mediterranian food. So I decided to come back up to Troy from Detroit (a 30 min drive on a good day) to inquire about catering some of the best mediterranean Iโve ever had. This time the guy who runs the place remembers me and greets me with a smile. His name is Romeo and he is happy to oblige my request go feed ~120 people in 3 days time. He literally helped me shape the order, smiled, and thanked me for the opportunity. The day comes and I arrive about 10 mins earlier than the time we agreed upon, fully expecting to patiently wait for the completed order. Well, Romeo proceeds to greet me with that same smile and immediately carry out tray after tray after tray of some of the best smelling food anyone has ever smelled. He got me turned around in record time and I successfully fed all 120+ people (more came than we expected ), but not before Romeo introduced me to his brother, shook my hand, and told me โthank you!โ Every single person told us how GOOD the food was. Falafel, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, fresh bread, fresh rice, fresh fattouch, dressing, garlic sauce, tahini, and pita chips for soooo many people. I only have this picture of the trays before everyone got to it, I never had a chance to take a picture of the open trays. Romeo knows service, he knows his food, and he knows how to help people when they need it. If you see this Romeo, THANK YOU!

3 months agoI've been going here since they opened, I was in the area recently and I missed their food so I stopped in. Wasn't too busy inside to sit in, but the take out orders were super busy. The young gentleman who waited on me was exceptional and well mannered. Over the years, I've seen a few different servers of course, but they have all been fantastic and the customer service they provide has always been above and beyond in my opinion. The food is great, the one thing that isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I did notice that they have different fries than what I remember eating. I remember their old fries having a slight crisp on the outside and they were really delicious. The new ones they have are good but I do miss the old ones.
