Children’s National Hospital

My son was sent to Children's national pediatric ICU. Everyone there was incredible! The hospital had everything we needed and more. The doctors and nurses were amazing. At the darkest time of our 1 year old's life, they were a source of comfort. I knew we were in good hands.

My daughter was discharged from Children's National Hospital exactly 1 week ago after a 4 day hospital stay. It was a stressful experience but the medical professions made it so much easier to navigate. Children's National Hospital is known for its' brilliant staff but their bedside manner is exceptional. We were in the ER for about 12 hrs before my daughter was admitted and assigned a room. The hospital was packed! But the staff made me feel like my daughter was the only patient there. Again, it was a stressful experience but found so much comfort being there because I knew she was in the absolute BEST care. I am forever grateful for the care my daughter received.

I'm so grateful for all the support, commitment, and dedication to your work, the doctors, nurses, and janitorial have provided since my son's stay at the hospital. You've all shown, excellence, professionalism and courteous manner to myself, and my family. Thank you so much for making my son smile again. My heart smiles as well. You all are Awesome to work with. You've all gone above and beyond what was expected of you. Thank you for making my son's days brighter.

My son is 19 and we’ve been coming here since he was an infant (we’re a chronic asthma family). Many hospital visits, but this is our first hospital stay and I knew the minute we came in- he would be ok! The doctors, the nurses, the techs, the janitorial staff, the cafeteria employees-everyone we’ve encountered has been nice and helpful! That should be the least of your worries during a medical emergencies but my experiences with hospitals has been HORRIBLE! THANK YOU CHILDREN’S, FOR PRIORITIZING OUR KID’S HEALTH!!!! It makes a HUGE difference 💝🤲🏽 We’re still here and hope to be discharged soon but thankful we’re in the best hands! God bless you ALL!

🐣 April 28, 2024. One of my children remained in a waiting area and was neglected for over 7 hours at this hospital. Children’s National Hospital should change its name, because you are not a hospital for making my poor kid wait that long is not even humane. A kid, not an adult. Don’t bring your kids here ever, especially on a Sunday like we did, Chik~Fil~A®️ has better service. I want my star back, your organization doesn’t deserve it. I even stopped by on limited time on 2 occasions only to see David and Raygan. I was told they’ve waited over an hour for medication to manage pain. Thanks, for not letting 7 hours pass like the initial visit, but why stop there. This place should be renamed Jack~In~The Box™️ like the restaurant chain, except your place is a joke, sans clowns.
