5 months agoGrandmother was brought in July 4. Emergency department. . Standing at the nurses station and getting ignored by three or four people for 20 minutes is Absurd. At least acknowledge the presence of another human being. Someone will be with youโฆ Hello. Nod. Something. Being a decent person is not that difficult. Some staff went out of their way while others completely ignored

in the last weekMy wife nearly died from complications of emergency surgery she had here. The ER experience was awful. Short stay unit was filthy. We had to clean the communal restroom ourselves. It's like staying in a seedy hotel with a much higher price. Staff was kind, but unhelpful, and provided misleading information about whether my wife was being admitted or not. And as far as contacting customer service, good luck. We've been waiting for a resolution to our complaints for months. Again, the people we've talked to are nice. I prefer competent to nice. This is a terrible system to entrust your health and life to.

2 weeks agoThe attitude of most of the workers was appalling it was as if you were bothering them. My husband had his leg amputated and they had to scrounge around and take from another department for some antiseptic.. and we're only able to find one packet. Which was not sufficient by any means. Roommate patients dripping blood from their bed to the bathroom. Constantly having to clean up where they didn't. My husband's primary care physician. Saw a black mass on my husband's foot. Rather than send him to a vascular cardiologist specialist who was two doors down from his office. Instead sent him to a foot doctor. Making my husband believe that it was just something that could be fixed with the foot doctor and not something circulatory.. best doctor will stand there with his hand out looking for an extra $10 and charge our insurance company for things that we don't even get. What should I say my husband because I no longer see that doctor. My husband needed insulin to help survive and get through this surgery. I cannot get in touch with the doctor because he was again on vacation and my husband needed noodles for this insulin and I could not give it to him I had to purchase it myself. The doctor that removed his leg told him he could leave a day later. My husband is back in the hospital back on blood thinners back on antibiotics back on insulin excessively because he is very sick and for this doctor to allow him to go home the next day is appalling. This is not over by a long shot.. Corewell has got big problems on their hands. A lot of this could have been prevented and my husband's leg could have been saved.

2 months agoI Visit Cornell Hospital Main about every Month to 6 weeks as I Need to Visit the Oncology Lab Whenever I Need Blood Drawn or Labs & Sometimes just heparin, See after my Debilitating Accident I Got a bad infection and ended up an IV antibiotics for 5 and 1/2 months in the ICU with necrotizing fasciitis or flesh eating MRSA. So I had no IV access. I had a titanium smart port put in and runs into my jugular vein down to my heart so it doesn't ever have to be replaced but it has to be accessed and cleaned once in a while if I'm not having so many surgeries so I have to see oncology department to have it done proper Beaumont Heritage Taylor or Oakwood . So I go to Dearborn Main and they take care of me and the most fantastic people ever. There's a Beautiful Lady (Inside & Out) in Oncology named Jamie & She goes out of her way to make sure I'm treated proper. My appointments are made right? He reminds me of my appointments and my insurance doesn't pay for a ride. So gave me his arranged it. So encore transportation picks me up and drops me off. Had no cost to me and I give her a hundred โญโญโญโญโญ if I could โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

3 months agoThe worst hospital Iโve ever been to they actually put you in chairs in the hallway and never check on you. They knocked me out. Left me a chair in the hallway. My IV was empty. My husband came back to check on me and they ignored everything it was like being a Third World country.
