While staying in Bloomington and searching for a place to pray, I stumbled upon this mosque. It appears to be a teaching academy where both children and adults can learn about Islamic studies. Additionally, they have a designated area for prayer. Below, I will outline the pros and cons of my experience: Pros: The mosque is beautifully clean and incredibly spacious. It is conveniently located near a metro bus station not far from Walmart Supercenter, 700 American Blvd E, Bloomington. Cons: During lectures on Saturday (After Aser prayer, dated May 20th, 2023), the Imam exclusively speaks in Arabic, which can pose a challenge for those who do not understand the language. It would be beneficial if he also delivered lectures in English.

This mosque is extremely unsanitary. The female mosque bathrooms are always extremely dirty and soaking wet and the bathrooms that are near the building entrance dont work properly, have mold near the walls and theres just a unpleasant odor coming from the bathrooms. Please hire cleaners who clean properly cause its shocking how unsanitary this place is. It can be a whole safety hazard. The quran teachers are also very abusive and hit kids when they dont pass. Extremely unprofessional and I regularly dont feel safe sending my children here. Next up is the school, if you didnt know the mosque is connected to a school where children go. I send my kids here and they complain non-stop about the teachers and staff. The staff that work at the school are extremely rude to the kids and act nice to us parents and the teachers cant teach properly which has caused my child to fall behind. Dont send your kids here if you dont want them to succeed in life!!!

Very Friendly people, I like being here. Only they need to be updated online for prayer time. You can not know the time until you see the printed paper on the wall or the screen tv at the masjid. Very difficult if you leave the city and get back frequently like truck drivers. I wish if there isa way they can fix it

Mashallah, I felt a sense of peace the moment I arrived here that I haven't experienced anywhere else. It fills the emptiness within me."
