Dr. Sinno and his surgical colleagues, Dr. Danker and Dr. Paluvoi are world class surgeons highly specialized in cancer robotic surgery and surgical reconstruction at the Univ of Miami. In my case, I was offered a surgical treatment option after failing all other conventional treatments. The surgery was a complex operation for removal of cancer followed by reconstruction. Although major risks were associated with the procedure, based on national studies of surgical outcomes, I did not experience any of these complications. I attribute my good outcome to the expertise and dedication of my surgical team at the Univ of Miami. I recovered and returned to my usual activities including work from home within weeks of surgery. I am now 3 ½ months postoperative and feeling stronger than I was preoperatively with a new sense of wellbeing. In short, I am deeply grateful to these doctors who performed exemplary surgery. They gave me hope before the surgery, in my hour of greatest despair, and throughout my perioperative experience. The hope gave me the strength to carry on!
