a month agoDr. Alamah shows favoritism towards his patients & he does not take criticism well at all. He refused to see my son at all and scared him, not even asking to pick him up before quickly doing so. He insinuated I dont know what Im talking about yet I have other specialists for my son telling me his primary is wrong and needs to do his job. Changing offices ASAP. I believe this man is a horrible doctor, and very unprofessional. Disappointed that people have to resort to this for their child's care. I would give 0 stars if it were an option.

2 years agoI'm 31 years old and my mom took me here as a baby right from the hospital until I was 17 yrs old. I now take my 3 children here and have been since they were all babies. I can take my children anywhere but I choose Dr. Alahmah. I am always able to get my kids in the day I call or the next day when they are sick and they don't charge cancellation fees for appointments or penalize you for missing so many appointments like most offices do. He has been practicing for over 40 years and knows what he's talking about. Great doctor and great staff!

2 years agoFirst off, the staff is amazing. It was hard for me to find a new dr because the nurses have always been great for 4 yrs. Informative, great bedside manner, squeezed me in same or next day appts in an emergency, etc. However, I was not happy with the doctor aspect. Very rushed appts with no answers with both of my kids. My son had an awful reaction to a brand of wipes and he told me it was possibly 5ths disease and wipes don't cause such a reaction...? Yea they do? And his rash was literally only where his sitter wiped on his face and chest, but he wouldn't listen. My daughter had horrible eczema..try this, come back. Try this, come back (because she wasn't improving). Mind you, our insurance only covers official visits...I have to pay out of pocket for call in visits. 4 different visits and wouldn't refer me to a dermatologist, so I called around on my own without a referral. Also told me my sons speech delay was normal because boys are late/slower than girls...here I am getting help from his kindergarten speech therapist as he turns 5 this fall when I could've had early intervention. I shouldn't have to run around in circles, feel unheard..very sad to leave, but it had to be done after numerous experiences where I am left feeling stressed or upset.

5 years agoI have been seeing dr alahmah since I was kid, my mother would take me and because Dr alahmah is such an amazing doctor I then chose to take my kids to him when I get older. My mother never had any problems with dr or his nurses as I was growing up and I never have with my kids either, until a few years ago when a nurse by the name of Amanda started working there. She is so rude and unprofessional. A few weeks ago dr had referred my son to scentri health care service for an evaluation, they contacted me and explained how my sons blue cross blue shield insurance policy doesnโt cover ABA services. I then called dr alahmahs office in hopes that they can help direct me to someone else. I spoke to Amanda (the nurse) about this, she in return told me that my sons speech therapy should be enough for him (so pretty much forget about getting my son evaluated for autism, which is what dr alahmah ordered to be done!) and told me to contact sccmha and have them figure it out for me, and that whoever they direct me to I will then have to pay out of pocket for everything, which was very discouraging to hear! It seemed like she totally dismissed me and didnโt even want to bother with me. Long story short I ended up figuring everything out on my own and found my son a psychologist to perform this test and who also accepts my sons beacon health options behavioral plan and will cover all my sons testing at 100% coverage (so Amanda lied to me about paying out of pocket for everything) . So when I contacted dr alahmahs office again I spoke with Amanda and asked if she could send a referral form over to the psychologists office, Amanda then gave me hell about that too and was very rude again. My sons psychologists office ended up sending them a referral form to fill out days later since Amanda never faxed it over like she said she would, so she must have just blew it off. If it wasnโt for dr alahmah being such an phenomenal doctor I would take my kids else where, itโs sad that one nurse can bring down his officeโs reputation.

8 years agoI can actually say Dr.Alamah is a great Doctor. We love him and the staffs they have always been very kind to myself and my kids. My kids been going to Dr.Alamah ever since they where new born I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I know sometimes we do wait maybe 30 minutes or even longer. But there have been many times I didn't have appointments. But they never turned me down and I thank God they didn't. Because I didn't want to have to sit in the emergency room waiting for about an hour or even more to be seen with a child that is sick. I know not all parents watch there's kids but it's hard for them to say anything to them because the minute you say something to ther kids then the parents want to get upset with them.
