I tried to be get results for my biopsy. I called but his office never answers and calls go to voice mail that is ignored. I did send emails. The response ' we have your results'. I asked what they were and was ignored. I was never told how or when to get results just ignored. I finally went to his office in person and was refused there also. No offer to have results reviewed and a call. Nada. I was told they would make a future appointment for me. I explained my family has a history of cancer with 2 deaths in my immediate family and my sister currently with cancer and would appreciate some reassurance. No empathy. Nothing. I finally said I will see another Dr in the future but would not leave without my results. They then produced them. I will say after initial ultrasound results that recommended a biopsy this Dr recommended that the ultrasound be done again in 6 months instead of a biopsy. It took a year for him to order a 2nd ultrasound. The results again said to biopsy. He still was hesitant but I insisted. He wrote the order for the biopsy but then I didn't know where to get it done so he recommended Simon medical. They don't do thyroid biopsys there so I called his office for direction and got no help so I asked my PC Dr for help and he ordered a biopsy for me at South Seminole hospital. The results were inconclusive so a 2nd biopsy had to be done. All of this took a lot of time and this Dr showed no empathy or urgency. I received a letter from Dr Ali saying to find a new Dr which believe me I was working on. The letter indicated he would provide assistance for 30 days. I sent an email asking for medication refills while switching and he denied my refills. This is not a Dr that you want when you are concerned about your health. I would never recommend him.

He is my absolute favorite doctor of all times!! Iโ€™ve been his patient for almost a decade now and he was not wrong about any of my health problems once! He cares so much but not in a fake surface way. I canโ€™t say enough good about him!!

I recently started seeing Dr. Ali, and I have to say, he's awesome! He really listens to what you have to say and takes the time to understand everything you're dealing with. Further, he connects the dots for what does not seem clear. You can tell Dr. Ali loves what he does. His passion for endocrinology and helping his patients is clear in every appointment. He's super knowledgeable and explains things in a way that's easy to understand. Most importantly, his treatments work. Since I started seeing him, I've noticed big improvements in my health. I feel like I'm in great hands and finally on the right track. His staff is fantastic too. They're always professional and genuinely empathetic. They communicate well and keep you in the loop about everything. Plus, when you call the office, you get to talk to a real person, which is such a nice change. Overall, Dr. Ali and his team are amazing. They combine expertise with a personal touch that makes all the difference. If you're looking for an endocrinologist who truly cares, look no further!

An ethical healthcare provider would want their patient to understand them. This office denied the patient access to a medical interpreter and repeatedly threatened to cancel the visit when we requested one.

I wrote a good review in the past for Dr. Ali. However, it was at the very beginning. Then I saw the true colors later. Most of the staff is rude, not caring or responsible. Doctor Ali, lack of compassionate and responsible care for my medical needs made me speak up and he didn't like it. I try to be a reasonable, educated and informed patient. As soon as the Doctor realized that, he decided to drop me as his patient by sending a letter in the mail indicating so. I simply tried to be my own advocate and he did like that. So many things went wrong I had to make so may calls to try and get a Biopsy of my thyroid. It's extremely difficult to get a call through the office or to get a call back. Dr. sent incomplete and wrong code referral for such procedures. At one-point I told a stuff member that Doctor Ali had acted very irresponsibly. Then he decided not to see me anymore because according to him I was disrespectful. He did like me saying he was irresponsible. My recommendation is: save yourself a lot of frustration. Seak for a Doctor and staff that shows concern, caring and compassion for you as a patient.
