2 months agoI canโt really say anything bad because he did help me understand the thyroid issue, as well as helped me lose some weight. Today, I saw another side of him. I have been going to him for years with no issue of insurance. My insurance was changed, and I told him that I would be leaving his office because he didnโt accept my insurance. He asked me what type of insurance I had and I told him ( this was back in March)โฆ. when he told me that he accepted my type of insurance, I was happy because once again I appreciate him for helping me to understand what I was going throughโฆโฆ well today Iโm not sure if he was having a bad day or whatever but the way that he spoke to me in front of his staff and other patients that were standing in the hall waiting to get checked out was a shock to me. The issue was he said I owed on my account. At that time we were sitting in the room with the door closed . So he showed me where my insurance declined the payment and they put $112 off on me as patient responsibility. OK, Iโll take care of the $112, but then he opened the door and went out into the hallway, and the way he spoke to me and told me that he canโt see me and I need to go find another Doctor who will take my insurance because heโs not gonna do it anymore. He was very very rude and I really held my composure. I get out to my car in tears and I called my insurance company to find out why they had not paid him. My insurance company in turn told me that they received paperwork to be authorized to do certain stuff . She said they approved the request for what he requested. She said, but when he billed them, he billed them for extra stuff that they did not approve him for and thatโs why it was not paid. So it seems like he got mad at me for something that wasnโt my fault. I donโt send in request for approvals or anything like that, so it wasnโt my fault. If him or his staff sent something in to get approval for, then he should have just billed for that. I asked him even if they pay the bill, can I come back because like I said, I like him as a doctor, and he told me no find another doctor to go to. I guess thatโs because he knew theyโre not gonna pay it because him or whoever does his billing messed up .So guess what, I will find another Dr. I wish him nothing but the best, but Today when I left out the office in tears because of his tone, his demeanor, his body language, and the embarrassment of discussing my business in front of patients and his staff, that was enough for me. It really upset me and pissed me off because I donโt know if he was having a bad day, somebody pissed him off or whatever, but as a professional, I feel he should have handled himself a lot better than that. I expected better than that from him.

5 months agoI Love Dr. Ali I would give him 5 stars. Itโs very hard for me to continue to be his patient because Iโm a Provider so Iโm going to always be my own advocate! He has some of the worst staff Iโve ever encountered they keep the rooms nasty, get mad when asked to clean them, his head nurse or office manager has the worst attitude. Not sure what anyoneโs credentials are because they donโt show them. His staff needs to be fired ASAP! They are bringing the quality of his office down. Someone needs to be held accountable & it starts at the top! Also trying to figure out if it could be a race issue. Not with the Dr but the staff. The office would be great if he hires new staff with better attitudes towards patients!

5 months agoI would give the customer service at this office less than zero stars if there was an option to do so. The staffs communication and follow up with medication refill request and prior authorization request are less than sub par! My first visit last year I had to wait months for a prior authorization request to be submitted to my insurance company. Iโve had other issues which warranted me to have to call several times only to be handled and talked to poorly by staff. The office manager, Tammy is rude and the other ladies appear to have been poorly trained. There is never any accountability for them dropping the ball. This most recent encounter was the last straw for me as one of the staff insisted that I was notified in regard to a medication that could no longer be filled when in fact that communication NEVER HAPPENED! The only explanation I have ever been provided was โwe have over 200 patientsโ. This office needs to be re-staffed from top to bottom!!! The Dr Alchira, however is Great but his team makes his practice unbearable as a patient.

a year agoMy experience with Dr Achira has been great! Heโs very thorough and actually listens to you when youโre speaking and in my case he is sincere with his understanding of my issues. I also have to mention his staff, I absolutely LOVE them! They are always super friendly and any time Iโve needed a refill, theyโre on it! I give his office 10 stars!
