5 months agoFirst and foremost, I cannot thank Dr. Hazama enough for the excellent and special care that he has provided and for the unique gift he is to his patients. Dr. Hazama performed a spinal fusion on me. He has returned me to the things I love to do. Dr. Hazama is not only a amazing surgeon who was there for me every step of this journey of mine, but also has become a great friend. 8 months agoFantastic experience with Dr Hazama @ Upstate University Hospital. Minimally invasive back surgery completed with no complications and back to work as quickly as I wanted. I went from barely able to walk when getting out of bed to getting up with virtually no pain. Very professional and a pleasant bedside manner as a bonus. I would highly recommend both Dr Hazama and this minimally invasive alternative to the standard spinal fusion.

a year agoThe day my husband and I met Dr Hazama my husband was in terrible pain for over a month. We both felt very comfortable and confident that he had the right Neuro Surgeon. Dr Hazama removed a tumor from my husbands spinal canal. For these reasons we were not nervous at all. Dr Hazama is the best Neuro Surgeon there is. We feel blessed that he was my husbands surgeon. a year agoMy mother was having surgery months back and Dr Hazama was brought in on part of the case. Her original doctor told us he had a skill set that most do not and thought his expertise was what was best for my mom. His bedside manor was outstanding. Communication before, during and after the surgery was 10/10 ! Thank you for everything!

a year agoDr. Hazama is a miracle worker! I went to the ER with my right arm paralyzed and despite the huge line of people waiting to be seen, I was whisked into an MRI, diagnosis, and timely surgery (anterior cervical discectomy and fusion). All the doctors on Dr. Hazamaโs team were patient and kind and explained everything in detail: Immediately after surgery when I woke up I could move my arm again! I am forever grateful and highly recommend Dr. Hazama for anyone seeking spinal pain relief.
