2 years agoI took my brother for recurrent Urinary infections, he is a C3 Quadriplegic and his Urologist wanted him seen soon, waited 2 mo to get in. We drove from an hour away. Because he is in a motorized chair you cannot rock the van or it whips his neck, throws his arms from his armrests and in the past has caused his head to put it in drive. Bumpy roads cause a delay. We were new to the area and had actually left 20 minutes earlier from our home but had no idea we would be on such bad roads. I explained to the office when they called 5 min after our appt time. I told them we were near and to please not reschedule us we would be there in 15 min. 15 min later they told us she wouldnโt see us and we had to reschedule. Obviously has no idea about the care of a quad nor compassion for one!

6 years agoDr. Arlette Aquad SAVED my life. I was in a induced coma for 17 days last March from a severe lung infection. Dr. Aquad worked tirelessly to find out what it was. Dr. Tata (my pulmonary Dr). told my wife to be prepared for my organs to start shutting down. Dr Aquad found out what infection it was and started the right meds to kill the infection. If it wasn't for her I would not be writing this posting today.

8 years agoShe is an AMAZING Dr. and person. She is very thorough, thoughtful, kind. She listens to me when i tell her how i feel, what i think, etc. Her level of knowledge and bedside manner are pretty uncommon these days in my experience the last three years. Thanks to her, I am walking again on a foot that was infected to the point that it spread into my blood, and I came close to amputation. Thanks Dr. Aouad!

6 years agoDr Aouad is a genuine and caring doctor with intelligence and spunk to do what is right for the patient. She saved my sister's life, even tried to save her from herself and I am and will forever be grateful.
