Dr. Ashraf Elshafei

Honestly,I am lucky being a patient with Psychiatrist Dr.Ashraf Elshafei MD in Mind & body clinic in Brooklyn. Dr. Alshafei is not only prescribing me what I need but also I feel comfortable and less anxious after my session with him. Dr. Ashraf and his team are caring and deal my case with compassion , which I have not experienced anywhere else. I owe him a alot . When I met Dr.Alshafei for the first time , I was miserable have no desire to live but his talk in the first session actually made me have the the hope again for life again and comfort my extreme depression and anxiety. Thank you Dr. Ashraf and many thanks for your team who always response promptly.👏👏👏

Honestly, I wouldn’t know where to begin. I first started seeing Dr. Ash in 2011 and it was superb even then. He’s well-mannered, well-spoken, and very knowledgeable in what he does. I feel comfortable when I’m sitting in his office and at ease when speaking to him. He makes me feel welcomed every time and I know that when I go in for my appointment, I’m going to walk out feeling significantly better. Dr. Ash has done an exceptional job at keeping me safe and sane (if you will) and I am tremendously grateful for his consistent guidance and care. Though in the past there have been several complaints about his staff, I can’t say I agree. In the 10+ years I’ve visited his office and waited to be seen, I’ve only experienced courteous and amicable staff who understand and respond to my concerns/comments/questions. Dr. Ash and his team have been behind my case for a lengthy amount of time and he’s hands down the BEST doctor I could have EVER come across. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone gentle but stern, compassionate but determined, empathetic, and driven.

Dr Ashraf is the best doctor ever anybody could have he’s amazing he listens to you he talks with you. He’s the best doctor ever you could never find any doctor like him. I would recommend him to everyone to all my friends to people who ask me if I know any good doctor I say right away yes Dr Ashraf. Like I said, you could never find any doctor like him. I would recommend everyone to go to him and his staff is awesome respectful they explain everything to you. The very kind all of them. They are so awesome. When you have a appointment they always make sure does you got the appointment? I hope Dr Ashraf never retires without him. I would be lost and his staff. and he also make sure does his patience, are well taken care of like I said you’re not gonna find any doctor like him nowhere

An update to an update. 07/21/2023 Dr. Ash, Dr. Belal & Dr. Reham are Three of the nicest people I've ever met. I trust these Doctors with my Life. Their staff are wonderful to deal with as they all go above & beyond to ensure you are comfortable, that paperwork is always correct, and that you never have to worry about a thing. Nora & Nada are both compassionate, sweet, caring human beings. They run the front office and are both truly awesome! Both girls always have a smile on their face which is very welcoming to all patients. Nora & the entire faculty are all truly amazing!! They always help everyone with whatever it is that they are going through. These people care about you!! If you are looking for a trusted Doctor & faculty, I highly recommend this Practice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart in assisting with the quality of my life. I wanted to post an updated review as of 01/24/20. Dr Ash , Dr. Belal, Dr. Reham are truly amazing people who I admire and trust when it comes to my health. I am personally not one to leave reviews, but after about 4 years or so of being a patient I think its only fair to give my honest true opinion. First, I see a some posts about rude staff, and a post about someones " job " and life were ruined from this practice because they weren't given Xanax in order to " function and work ". The staff, new, present and elders who have been there since day one are probably some of the most helpful people I have ever come across. They do their jobs great and with passion. I've seen people yell and be rude to some of the staff a couple of times and its really wrong imo. I also think its wrong to " hold" someome accountable for " ruining your life" because you demand drugs and tell a professional who has spent YEARS in school what type of drugs you think you may need. I take offense to this , everything is about trust. I personally trust this practice with my life. I drive 2 hours ( each way) since I don't live in Brooklyn anymore to see Dr. Ash and Dr Belal. I have a relationship with them but remember it's based on trust. Don't go here thinking you are going to lie to a professional so you can score drugs, or complain about staff being rude when you show up 45 minutes late to your appointment. Yes there can be a wait at times, but nothing is perfect. This is not a machine, these are people who have to deal with everyone in a specific fashion. This is your health and life. If you want honest, hard working , compassionate people, I strongly suggest coming here. A big thank you to Dr. Ash, Dr. Belal, Dr. Reham, Dr. Mahmoud & Dr. Laura and the beautiful staff here. I am grateful for your care and professionalism. Ty from James Dr. Ash truly cares about his clients and wants to make sure they get the correct treatment and information. Dr. Ash & the rest of staff does an incredible job of and helping each patient. They are very thorough . All of the girls upfront are wonderful people and they treat me like part of their family. I have been a patient of Dr. Ash for about 4 years now. Yes, there can be a wait at times . The fact of the matter is that each patient is dealt with in the appropriate way and the doctor spends his time ensuring the safety and education of each patient. I rather wait a little bit to see a professional in depth doctor that deals with my health vs seeing a doctor and having him or her miss details by just hurrying up the appointment. What some people do not understand is that situations come up. If there is a particular matter or task at hand it has to be dealt with in the correct way. If you're honest, and not a drug addict looking to score , Dr Ash and his team are a great practice for your mental and physical health. I love these people and the entire staff. This is an honest and real review. Thank you to the staff and doctors at this practice.

In fact, all the staff are very wonderful, and their dealings with the visitor are very elegant.. All their appointments are very punctual.. Now let us talk about Dr. Ashraf Al-Shafei. He is really a professional doctor, and my personal experience with him was and still is more than wonderful.. He is the doctor, friend and companion for many years who takes He relieves me of worries and pains and makes them a balm for the soul.. Dr. Ashraf, I would like to say thank you for being in my life because you are truly the savior in moments of downfall..
