4 years agoI love Dr. Ash, but the way this office is run is simply unacceptable. I have been coming to this office monthly over 2 years now. Usually 3 hour waits, sometimes 4-5 hours. Almost every time there are people going off on the front desk for the ridiculous wait times, though I've put up with it patiently. Since the virus, the random call backs have been fine I guess (at least not wasting my time); however, last time I was told THEY would be calling ME for my next appointment. No call. I tried contacting by the supposedly preferred contact method, was told I'd be contacted within 24h. Nothing. Tried again, nothing. After a week of no medication refill, I finally decided to get my PCP to write my prescription this month. I'll be looking for a new psychiatry office. Ily guys, but who has time to deal with an office this inept?

His Front Desk Personnel are professional, knowledgeable, & well mannared & above all treat you with the utmost respect. 3 years agoDr. Elshafei seems like a decent enough guy but his office and computer system are a complete disaster. He overbooks himself to the nth degree, which is fine if I get what I need at the end. Unfortunately the last time the pharmacies simply were not receiving prescriptions. I tried multiple pharmacies and the result was always the same. The last time I called the office the woman suggested it must be something I was doing wrong, but what part does the patient have in transmitting the prescription electronically? Absolutely none. Itโs a shame because ElShafei is the only psychiatrist locally who accepts new patients and Medicaid. Too bad.
