Dr. Azam Basheer, MD

This doctor has changed my life. My spine surgeon sent me to see him and I had low expectations. When he explained things to me and offered me minimally invasive surgery I was skeptical at first. It’s been 6 months since the surgery and my back feels the best it ever had has. If you or anyone in your family need help, go see DR BASHEER

PLESSE READ ALL BEFORR GOING TO DR BASHEER. First off Dr Basheer is a liar, REALLY LAZY, very self centered and arrogant. So here is what happened with this Doctor. I live an hour away and was referred to see Basheer. Waited months in pain to see Basheer with my neck and back. When Basheer came into the room his bedside manner was arrogant and don’t waste time. I was in his eyes a 100% candidate for the disc replacement in my neck. He also said he would not do a fusion on neck or back. Surgery was scheduled about a week and a half before surgery. I get a call from the scheduler at Henry Ford to say that my disk replacement is canceled.I asked why and she said my insurance did not approve the surgery. Here is where it gets worse with Basheer. I’ve called my insurance company and they said they never received anything from Henry Ford. So I called back the scheduler and explained my insurance did not receive anything from Henry Ford. Here to find out henry Ford uses a computer program to determine whether your insurance is going to cover your surgery or not. My insurance company doesn’t even know anything about this. Even if the surgery was delayed or denied. Basheer could easily do a peer to peer with the insurance company. A peer to peer is where he actually talked to the insurance company and odds are the insurance will approve the surgery. Dr Basheer said he would absolutely NOT talk to the insurance company. Why? I never received an answer or reason from this actual doctor. So with no help from Dr Basheer I was told to find another doctor that will help with my neck and back. I have no idea what’s going on with this doctor and I’ve never been to Henry Ford before but to say your going to help and then noting. I can say I won’t be going back to Henry Ford and letting people know about this horrible doctor and his laziness. Still stuck with daily pain and the process starts all over again. Go somewhere else please.

Dr. Basheer absolutely changed my life by fixing my Cervical spine with a C5-C6 disk replacement. Everything from start to finish. Highly recommend if you, family or friends need help... Look no further.
