Her thoughtful, compassionate care is always aimed towards improving the lives of her patients. She takes the time to go over all the tests she ordered in detail, answering the patientโs questions and concerns so that they understand their treatment options and encourages them to be a part of their own care.

a month agoThe bad reviews on Google are true. Find another Rheumatologist and DO NOT start Consentyx with Dr. Basma Al Nahlawi or Kayal Medical Group. Starting a biologic with this practice has been a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. When I call, no one answers (unless I select the option for making an appointment.) When I leave messages, no one ever calls me back. Iโve been going for over 6 months now and Iโve never met the Dr in person. Weโve had one Telehealth call so far, for which she reschedule several times and then was an hour late when we did meet. The nurse practitioner gave me my first two doses and promised me they had back up Consentyx doses at the office if I had any trouble and needed an emergency dose at anytime. So far the Dr.โs office has been out of the medication every time Iโve needed an emergency dose. The Drโs office sent my prescription to a specialty pharmacy without telling me - they told me it went to my pharmacy, and didnโt tell me until 4 weeks later that it actually went to a specialty pharmacy of their choosing, after I had been inquiring with both my pharmacy and the Dr.โs office for the past 4 weeks. Iโm now 3 days past when I was supposed to take my 4th dose and after many phone calls and an office visit thereโs still no solution so far. Find a different Dr and I different medical practice.

5 months agoDr A is amazing. So is the front and back office staff. I started seeing her two years ago and when I started staying her, I had no energy. It wasnโt a lot of pain. My inflammation marker was so high that it was putting strain on my heart and lungs. Then she has regulated my medication. I am mobile and have energy to do things with my friends and family. And even travel a little bit words canโt describe how grateful I am to have her as my Dr.

4 months agoDiagnosed me with fibromyalgia and then told me they couldnโt treat my fibromyalgia, even though they are listed as treating fibromyalgia in their website. Rheumatologist said sheโd be sharing my records with my physician the day of my appointment. She didnโt. My primary care physician then requested they share my recent records three times and they didnโt. When I called them, they told me theyโd received no requests to share my records but they would share them that day. Several days later, I talk on the phone with my physician. Guess who still hasnโt sent my records? Donโt waste your time here.
