2 years agoI am so sad writing this review and this is because doctor Faris is leaving weill cornell practice. Iโve had doctor Faris as my OBGYN for the past 4 years. I canโt believe this is the last time i get to see her. What an amazing Doctor she is. For the past 4 years she has taken care of me and not once do i have any complaints. She was very knowledgeable, her bedside manner was so warm and friendly and i was so comfortable telling her what issues or concern i might have without fear of judgment and condescension. I will truly miss her as my hunt begins to find someone like her.

6 years agoDr. Faris was incredible. I felt like I was talking to a friend and not a doctor. She took her time, listened, had amazing bedside manner and just made me feel a comfort I have not felt before which enabled me to be more open / honest with her about my care and things important to me to discuss. I have already recommended her to friends and just feel extremely lucky that I got in while she is still accepting new patients - Iโm sure that wonโt last!

3 years agoDr Faris is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. She addressed all of my concerns and made me feel at ease. She does not project an air or being rushed, or disinterested. She gave me all of her time and attention during the appointment. I would recommend her for all of your gynecological needs.

a year agoBe your own advocate . If you have endometriosis, make sure that your doctor takes great care to determine that your endometrioma that is present during your pregnancy isnโt actually an ovarian tumor, which after the emergency birth of your baby is not diagnosed to be Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer at 36 years old. Ask for proof of the initial diagnosis . Be proactive.
