2 months agoI donโt know how people can go to this hospital. My daughter had major spinal fusion surgery and suffered the entire time as they would not give her the proper pain meds to help her. She was crying and begging the nurses and the doctor and they really didnโt even care. So horrible to have to watch a loved one have to suffer so badly.

3 years agoMy moms primary had her scheduled to go to St Raphaels ER for tests stating they are more โsenior friendlyโ. The ER room she is in is unfortunately extremely filthy. Thereโs a open toilet and sink in the room next to the computers and needles etc? The floor is filthy all around.,The sheet she was given has dirt on it. Weโve already met with 6 nurses and two PAs repeating the situation and now are told she may have to be in the hospital for three days if they canโt get someone to do her test (?). Iโve contacted her primary and am waiting for a call back. This isnโt Senior friendly, they are the ones who are more susceptible to diseases and itโs ironically this is for a bacterial infection and it looks like a Petri dish. Do better. St Raphaels ER room B6.

2 months agoThis place is a joke. Nurses laughing at the pain of the patients , you ask for water took forever and I ask for a sheet because is freezing here she never came with the sheet. Ask the nurse in charge to speak with the doctor and no one showed up. Being here since 8 only a xray was done. Ridiculous, unbelievable and irresponsible.

5 months agoI would just like to recognize the entire staff at St. Raphaels. On 05/30/2024, When I brought my wife into the ER for an issue, as I am her 24/7 caregiver, the receptionist noticed I was flushed and not breathing well. She asked me how I was, and I said my chest has been tight for a couple of days now. They quickly admitted me and did some routine testing, and it seems I might have been having a heart attack, as I had 2 in the past. They kept me under observation for a few hours and got my numbers back to normal and admitted my wife for her issues. GREAT JOB!!!!! I also would like to recognize, Chris Prokop in the Navigation Dept. When my wife's clothes were misplaced as she was being moved around, they were not found when she was discharged. I was contacted by Chris, 2 weeks later, he had searched for her belongings and found them. He then personally brought them to my home, 15 miles from St. Raphaels!! As, my wife and I are both disabled, this was a big help for us. The Teamwork at St. Raphaels is amazing. They still continue to monitor our situation and still contact us for updates. They are doing a remarkable job in an almost impossible situation. It's those kinds of things that make a team. I will not be going anywhere else. Thanks again!!!
