2 months agoโค๏ธ โค๏ธ One year ago, Dr. Azoury saved my husbands life. Today, he is back in great shape and able to enjoy a continued retirement. Terry's surgery was totally unexpected -- widowmaker type -- triple bypass. He visited his gym daily and was chopping wood out back the weekend prior. BOOM (they couldn't do a stent). I was terrified and I'm embarrassed to say that I (the wife, not the patient) gave Dr. Azoury a hard time. He was patient and answered every question, every time. I mean, this man was PATIENT with me... seriously!! A cardiac surgeon taking the time and effort to answer all my small questions... what a caregiver! On surgery day, staff came to the waiting room every hour to give us updates... what a huge blessing! It seemed this teams mission was to keep the family informed and less stressed... so helpful at this anxiety-filled time of life. Right to the last meeting, we were greatly blessed. Dr. Azoury is a very skilled cardiac surgeon, no issues at all here. He answered every question along the way. We felt heard and understood. Dr. Azoury and his team were the โค๏ธ BEST โค๏ธ . I'd never ever hesitate to shout his name anytime someone needs cardiac surgery! Thank you Doctor Azoury! Bless you! P.S. Terry (photo) at Veterans Run last weekend in Harrison Michigan.

3 months agoOn Dec. 14, 2023 I underwent a procedure (Cryoablation for A Fib) at McLaren Hospital Port Huron. Although this procedure has been performed many times without incident, I was not so lucky. A vein perforation occurred and I suffered large and immediate blood loss. Emergency open heart surgery was the only way I would survive. With a huge thank you to Dr. Azoury and his team, I am here today and virtually none the worse for wear. He and his team were there within minutes. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude for giving me a second chance at life. I also want to thank the people in the Intensive Care Unit where I spent the next six days receiving the best care possible night and day. Today, I am back at full activity with no restrictons. Once again, thank you, thank you, thank you.

3 years agoOn 9/22/2020 Dr. Azoury preformed a quadruple bypass on me at Port Huron McLaren Hospital. He is a highly skilled surgeon, caring and exact in his professional care. He has two nurse practitioners that are available 24/7 to take calls and questions from the patients regarding their care, meds, etc. They never made me feel that my calls were a waste of their time. This is extremely helpful to patients who are going through this scary time in their life. Dr. Azoury never made me feel that I wasn't in good hands. Dr. Azoury and his team made me feel that I couldn't have gotten any better care as if I was in their family. Tim Koury
