a month agoAbsolutely massive hospital! They have care for everything. I am so glad there are many maps and directions throughout this hospital because it would be so easy to get lost if not. The doctors and nurses are super helpful and they seem to really care about what you have to say and how you feel. The wait for bloodwork was super quick, about 3 minutes total. Unfortunately I need to come back from another state in a couple weeks for more tests because of how booked they are that is the only downside of the whole Clinic but overall. They found that I have a rare condition that my local hospital should have found with all the tests they ran, but somehow they didn't. It took the Cleveland Clinic ONE TEST, JUST ONE to diagnose and find my problem. Now I am able to get surgery to help. I am so thankful for the doctors and nurses at this clinic. It has been a fantastic experience going here and I am so glad I walked away with answers because of them. 11/0 experience so far at the Cleveland Clinic! If you need care, I recommend them!

a week agoThis review isnโt regarding the care of the doctors, nurses, or other staff here at Cleveland Clinic. They are all excellent. This review is mainly about the accommodations for the families of pediatric patients here. My child had surgery that required a one-night stay for monitoring. We drove over an hour to be here at the Cleveland Clinic for this procedure and stay. They put us in a โroomโ that looks like an ER triage or quick care room. There is no pull out couch for parent(s) to sleep on. What is given was a small, torn up couch with zero space to accommodate one individual let alone two parents for an overnight stay. Iโve been to and stayed at many hospitals in the NE Ohio area with family members, and Iโve never seen anything like this before. This is supposed to be one of the worldโs best hospitals. I am beginning to think that they purposely do this so patientsโ families will purchase one of their overpriced hotel rooms for the night. I would have no issue with this if the patient wasnโt a 6 year old who needs her parents by her side. They need to rethink how and where they situate families of pediatric patients. My daughterโs surgery and stay here will cost as much as a luxury vehicle. They need to do better than this.

10 months agoIt was easy and professional scheduling a Pulmonologist appointment here. When I walked in there was a musical concerto. A flute was playing Camelot! I thought I was back in 1964. I went to the Gift Store off the Main Lobby. I bought a CC Blanket. Then I went to the Main Dining area. It has an international flair. Lots of exciting cuisines to select from. Everything was fresh and clean. They clean the table promptly as soon as one guest leaves. There are many greeters. They are friendly and personal. Everyone is willing to help with direction and location issues. I parked in Lot 1. It was in close proximity to Everything. They go above and beyond my expectations. Nothing to complain about here. Each desk I have been to has 2-3 receptionists to process my visit. Beautiful care here. Stellar

2 weeks agoCleveland clinic is supposed to be the best of the best. I went here when I was younger and switched elsewhere because of how rude the doctors were and because they made us get bloodwork at the appointment instead of getting it beforehand to then discuss at the appointment. I came back for a second opinion this year and saw Dr Karen Murray. I brought up a rare condition I wanted to be tested for because doctors just could not figure out what was wrong with me. My mom had printed over 1,000 pages of my medical records and she didn't even glance at them and she didn't do an exam. She laughed at me and said I do not have said condition. She recommended a follow up with psychiatry. A few months later and I have a feeding tube due to her negligence. I saw another specialist who ordered more testing and the rare condition I couldn't possibly have was plain as day positive and requires surgery. My condition is complicated due to her unwillingness to listen. I would be embarrassed to be associated with her and would not recommend this doctor if my life depended on it.

in the last weekThe Cleveland clinic Corp. Is unresponsive to patient needs. Central scheduling is a nightmare with out of touch staff, with frequent errors and ridiculous amount of prompts. Billing is repetitive. I pay at Dr for co pay but it never is credited. I am billed although I've payed and must call each time to have it "assigned" to my account. The only positive is the quality of my Dr's who are excellent. I've tried calling ombudsman but no one answers. Try calling back, I miss call and again no answer. No one is listening or doing anything to resolve these issues. Unfortunately like all corp's we are victims to greed and they then ask me for donations!
