Dr. Maher Dahdel MD

Dr Dahdel was my dr at what used to be Sparks in Ft Smith AR. He truly cares about his patients. Mine was a difficult case and he saved my life. He had to fix what another dr screwed up. Since he left, the quality of care has really went down considerably. If my insurance would cover it, I’d drive the distance to have him as my doctor. If I could give him 10 stars I would.!!! He is patient and answers all questions. He is thorough.

I first met Dr. Dahdel when I got admitted at the hospital in 2018 for Influenza A. I got some pretty bad Pneumonia and I was in a really bad shape. Dr. Dahdel treated me and saved my life. He is the best Pulmonologist/Doctor ever. Very patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients and he's also a good listener. Truly blessed and grateful to have him as my Pulmonologist!

I was admitted to HCA Clear Lake Hospital early in July for Covid Pneumonia (Bilateral). I went into the ICU mid-July and was so fortunate to have Dr. Dahdel as my pulmonologist. Dr. Dahdel was very attentive and his care was on point at each turn I took. I was eventually intubated and then had to have Tracheostomy, as I was on a ventilator for an extended time period. Dr. Dahdel provided such great attentiveness to my care. I had persistent pneumothorax’s on both lungs (left with greater regularly). Dr. Dahdel’s experience and attention to detail kept me stable during my worst days. Dr. Dahdel performed many procedures with the required chest tubes and making adjustments on the collection devices for the delicate balance to keep me going. I spent a little over a month at Kindred Acute Care Hospital where I started my rehab. Dr. Maksoud looked in on me during my stay at Kindred. He was attentive an encouraging too. I spent a total of 111 days in the hospital (68 days were in the ICU). Dr. Dahdel followed me during my recovery and eventual rehab back at Clear Lake Hospital. He would stop by and look in on me until I was released. My husband and I love the care Dr. Dahdel has provided me during this very rough journey. His attention and caring demeanor has been evidenced over and over during my time in the hospital. Since my release from the hospital, I have been back to see Dr. Dahdel for follow-ups. Dr. Dahdel is such a caring doctor. Dr. Dahdel saved my life. He never gave up and his emergency work to perform several procedures were absolutely life savers. My husband has been so impressed with Dr. Dahdel. When my condition was dire, Dr. Dahdel was very courteous and explained the situation as it was to him. Dr. Dahdel would provide briefs to my husband (good or bad) and did so with compassion. Dr. Dahdel is the best!!

Dr. Dahdel is not only an excellent Pulmonologist But also a compassionate and caring person! He was very thorough in the diagnosis and treatment of my husband’s lung cancer. Knowing that we were working against an insurance timeline he personally arranged for a surgeon and oncologist on the day he was diagnosed. He made sure that his surgery happened quickly and checked on him every day while he was in the hospital. He always had a way of making us feel encouraged and uplifted during the whole experience. I would recommend Dr. Dahdel to anyone facing pulmonary challenges!

It was an excellent experience with Dr. Maher Dahdel. He explained answers to all my question very calmly. I did not feel rushed while having consultation with him. The office is very efficient, they were very professional and got preauthorization from the insurance company. Everything was smooth. I am so thankful to him for his dedication and service to the patients.
