I was just visiting, I was not a patient, from the perspective of a visitor the hospital was nice, comfortable and it has good amount of parking spots, they also have a nice and specious cafeteria with a very convenientstarbucks inside the facility. Easy to navigate and a very short waiting time.

I am in the emergency room of this hospital now. I have been waiting here for 10 hours so far, but still no result has been given to me. Every time the doctor or nurse comes in a hurry for a few minutes and then says they will be back. Every time I have to wait for more than an hour before someone comes to ask me. I have been through a whole night, but still have not received the doctor's diagnosis. It is always an endless wait. Bad hospital, bad doctor, patients come to the emergency room to get help quickly, determine the condition, and get effective treatment. Not endless waiting. I hope that the hospital's top management can pay attention to patients' complaints, investigate and rectify them seriously and responsibly, and improve the efficiency of the emergency department.

The best hospital in the world. I have also been to the hospitals called the best in New York and Europe is also included in this. The best hospital is Stonybrook. Especially the cardiology department is incredibly caring and the only place I can trust. The critical care unit is extremely professional and well organized. The doctors and nurses constantly come and care. All the nurses help with incredible dedication and smiling faces. I think 5 stars is not enough, the whole galaxy can only tell its quality. On my behalf, I would like to thank especially the cardiology doctors with gratitude. I wish continued success to the emergency department that I often go to. You are all real heroes and angels. May God protect you and always be there.

Stony brook nurses are of the highest quality. My husband and I went to stony brook maternity unit in a bit of a panic as it is our first pregnancy. We were immediately helped. The nurses and staff were so sweet, knowledgeable and quick. They brought me into the room to check my baby and let my husband check me in. I appreciated how efficient and understanding they were.

the worst ER ever! They will walk pass you and ignore the hell out of you while you are in excruciating pain until you say something to them and they will tell you "okay the nurse or doctor will be with you shortly"well it takes up 45mins or to 2hours to wait for one. Took my husband in for back pain and you think they did an xray or have his drawn blood? Nope! nothing but it took almost 6hours for them to discharge us and an hour to give my husband his shot and pain medicine while he is in so much pain and they walk right pass us countless times. When we asked the Doctor who was seeing us if we are getting discharged anytime soon because he kept walking pass us and didnt say anything his response was "im waiting on my assistant to discharge you guys" I asked him back "and that will take up another hour?" he nodded his head yes while he just could have done it! smh. I understand that it is crazy in the ER always but do your job professionally and effortful period! Dont ignore your patients like that!
