a week agoThe Mount Sinai Hospital has seen me through some of the most challenging times in my life, and for that, I am deeply grateful. Iโve spent numerous nights in this hospital, and my longest stay was two weeks. Throughout all my visits, the one thing that has remained consistent is the incredible care and compassion shown by the entire staffโnurses, doctors, and everyone involved. The nurses at Mount Sinai are nothing short of amazing. They have always treated me like family, attending to my needs with genuine care and without a hint of complaint. Their dedication to their patients is evident in everything they do, from the smallest tasks to the most critical care. Itโs clear that their number one goal is to ensure that you walk out of the hospital feeling healthy and 100%. Knowing that you have people who care for you like family during such difficult times is a comfort that cannot be overstated. The doctors are equally remarkable, providing expert medical care with a level of professionalism and kindness that makes all the difference. They take the time to explain everything, ensuring that you feel informed and supported throughout your treatment. So, yes, Iโm writing this five-star review to say thank you to The Mount Sinai Hospital. Thank you for being there when I needed it most, for treating me with respect and compassion, and for helping me get back to feeling like myself again. I canโt recommend this hospital enough to anyone in need of medical care. Youโre in the best hands possible at Mount Sinai.

2 months agoYesterday, On my way to work I experienced a hypertension crisis ( high blood pressure 180/120) Unfortunately, this isn't the first time for me experiencing an Hypertension crisis. I'm pretty clear on the protocols on how a hypertension crisis is handled in the ER, I was shocked on how Mount Sinai was Incompetent. Usually hospitals will put you on Meds to lower the blood pressure about 20%, Not at Sinai. They completely ignored me for 5 hours, not monitoring , my heart rate ( which was high at that time 130bpm according to my Iwatch) or blood pressure. They pretty much stuck me in a utility closest with no monitoring at all. After hours of waiting I finally got sick of their incompetence, called my regular doctor in Brooklyn, she told me to come in to her office. I do want to add I live deep in Brooklyn about 12 miles away from Sinai. Originally I wanted to go back to Brooklyn, but being in the subway or being stuck in traffic when it's over 100 degrees, having the shakes, nausea and a headache didn't sound a great idea at the time of my HTC. I Thought Sinai could handle it, but nope I was wrong ! I ended up going to the doctors desk telling them I was done there.I ended up taking the journey back to Brooklyn feeling like crap, it was completely uncomfortable experience to travel back to Brooklyn feeling the way I did, but not being treated for 5 hours at a hospital was also very uncomfortable experience. I ended up at my regular doctors in Brooklyn, they gave me the IV to help lower my blood pressure to a safe level. It only took my Brooklyn Doctor about an 1hr 1/2 to get my blood pressure to a safe level. I told my doctor about my experience at Sinai and she was baffled by what I had experienced. My advice if you have a Choice to go to another ER, Go to another ER!! Sinai was highly disappointing and they clearly put me at risk.

in the last weekHad a liver transplant back in March 2024, I had a very successful experience and surgery. All the staff that was involved with my transplant was highly professional and caring and compassionate. This hospital saved my life.

a month agoIt's like their own city. You need to know where to go to be able to ask someone where it is. It's a beautiful place. (Of course, it's better to be home than in the hospital). The staff and everyone their are nice and plight to you. When you ask someone something, they answer you and explain how to get where you want to go. I was very impressed.

a month agoPhenomenally talented staff who are dedicated to complete excellence and everything they do. Being the tops in the city makes it where they get flooded with patients and have to triage in order to work on the most urgent. The wait time can be many hours but they provide amazingly great care. If someone has a serious illness, this is a wonderful place to be.
