a month agoAlhamdulillah,HCA Florida Osceola Hospital has a wonderful prayer space for both Muslim males and females, I believe around 20 people performing Salat together. There's also a place for ablution (oudโs). I wasn't expecting such a nice facility here. The prayer room is located just after the main entranceโtake a left, and it's opposite the Subway fast-food restaurant.

2 weeks agoThis is my sixth surgery at this hospital. This time and only this time I had a terrible experience in the recovery room. There was a nurse who did not want to care for me after my nurse went home. She was very rude nasty laughing at me and all well. I just came out of surgery. It was very disappointing and not really reflection upon your hospital although I do not think she Should be in the recovery area.. in the recovery area, I guess a few people who are compassionate and empathetic and care about their patients. This particular girl only cared about her paycheck and her sister who was a Doctor Who came through many times. Iโm telling this because I hope nobody else has to go through this experience after a long surgery. Patients have rights and it should be reflected upon that.

3 months agoThe only issue I had which would have caused one star less would be that the AC is out but at least they have big standalone AC units in the hallway near each room door to try to keep them cool. Everybody was amazing and I have no complaints about the nurses. I was in the wing of A400, and even though all the nurses were amazing Edith and Jaime went beyond. The care team checked on your everyday to give you results, answer questions, or to just make sure you are okay. I was extremely nervous going into the hospital but everyone there makes you feel comfortable. I had several family guest here who was also treated kindly. Over my three and a half day stay my daughter stayed one night and my boyfriend the next. They were offered drinks and coffee while here and an extra blanket was brought in. I also have no complaints on the food, everything I had tasted good. Thank you for a very good experience

3 weeks agoI am putting only 1 start as I can't give 0 starts. The hospital outpatient lab is awful. The phlebotomist had missed labs or send incomplete labs outside. I have been poke more than once because she either forget that needed another tube or send the specimen incorrect. This is a "benefit" employees have, but in reality, we don't have that benefit. It is costing me being poke several times unnecessarily, going to see the ordered doctor without the lab so I need to pay for that visit plus another visit as the doctor still wants the lab. I have spoken with supervisors, managers, etc. I had experience lab errors more than 5 times. Errors are from different lab personnel. I don't have words to express the frustration. I feel sorry for those patients that trust them and possible have missed results without knowing. If they work with customers, they need to be detailed oriented, specially with sick people as it might cost someone's life.
