Excellent care all through the process. Front office and nursing staff are all very caring and helpful. Dr. Juma is one of the best doctors that has treated me. My issue was unusual and he was able to diagnose it and perform surgery to manage it. I recovered quickly from the surgery and am very grateful for the kindness and understanding shown me by Dr. Juma

I’ve been having issues with genesis urology as a whole. The first doctor ignored symptoms and now the second only wants to try holistic methods using vitamins, which I agreed with at first till it put me in the hospital. He doesn't want to manage symptoms which is effecting my job as an athlete and my ability perform in competition and travel. I’m sure he’s gifted in other means of his practice but if you’re expecting any bedside manner I would for sure seek another urologist beside Dr. Juma without a doubt. He’s easily frustrated and wants to insist that any options besides his own are wrong even with other recommendations from other doctors even if they’re showing positive results. I hope I’m wrong and want to return to him someday but at this time I’d prefer to be in another county opposite of this man with my experiences so far being consistently negative now. I will say the nursing staff has been far more educated and sweet than the doctors in this office. It’s usually a pretty tell tail sign when the nurses have to delegate for the doctors they staff for to calm the patients down. #HardPass

Dr. Juma is the utmost professional. Very bright . He is extremely thorough and spends as much time as needed to ensure his patients understand the diagnosis and plan of action. He treats his patients with respect .

I have never had a doctor treat me the way Dr.Juma did, it was a horrible experience and I am considering filing a formal complaint with my insurance. He was rude, arrogant, dismissive, and an overall jerk. He actually put is hand in my face and told me to stop talking, he said did not care what any of my doctors had done in the past, didn't care what other doctors I was seeing or what meds I was taking. He said he was a female urology specialist and he only cared about the bladder. But as I tried to tell him, some my meds do not work with meds for the bladder. He then texted a colleague to see if he would see if my insurance would cover a surgery, he didn't explain, nor asked me if I wanted something implanted. He also said he was sure I was taken in too many fluids, and accused me of lying, when I said I had only had 8 oz of water before the visit. This was my first visit with Dr Juma. I had been seeing another urologist in the same practice for 4 years, but they left. I left this appointment feeling abused and mistreated.

Extremely knowledgeable with an unusual bedside manner. He gets to the point quickly, so not to waste his time or yours. I really like him.
