2 weeks agoCalled for 3 days straight to get an appointment and had the run around about โsomeone would get back to youโ. When someone finally got back to me, my appointment was scheduled 3 weeks later. Today, the day before my appointment I get an unprofessional text message from an automated service letting me know my appointment has been canceled for non-payment. However, you are given and told that you have the option to pay at time of appointment. So please enlighten me how my appointment was unprofessionally canceled the night prior, for non-payment?? Donโt offer the option to pay at time of appointment if youโre going to cancel someoneโs appointment the night prior?? I mean how unprofessional is that. Someone seeking mental health help and you are so greedy for a $20 copay you cancel my appointment the night prior? Not only was it canceled the night prior, It was canceled after office hours so I cannot reach anyone to help me get my appointment back. Youโre out of your mind if you think Iโm going to pay $295 for you canceling my appointment. Someone from the front desk called me earlier this week and didnโt mention anything about having to pay the day before or my appointment would get canceled. Very unprofessional and do not recommend.

4 months agoVery concerning that this practice doesnโt make it their practice to return parentโs phone calls for established, minor young patients they treat. We have left 4 voicemails (2 calls over the last two days) regarding medication that was suddenly stopped due to a trial quantity being out. It is unprofessional and shows lack of patient care and regard to not have a process to check patient voicemails and return calls. We are not ones to air concerns like this on social media, but perhaps this is the only way to communicate with them. They do make it a point to contact you prior to your appointment phone call to collect their copay, which seems tacky considering they donโt practice what they preach. I would highly reconsider working with practice given that patient care and communication is not high on their priority list.

3 months agoMy son has been "seen" by someone from Dr Sheikha's office a few times. First of all, don't expect to get an in person visit, I tried marking them multiple times and its only remote sessions. Second, Dr Sheikha has never talked to my boy, only other people in his office, nice to know that the person who is in charge doesnt care about your kid. Third, the place cancels appointments out of the blue. I had an appointment over 2 months ago and they call saying, we wont have anyone available for that date so we will call and reschedule. They didnt. I then called for another appointment as my boy needs medication and they refuse to give more than a 90 day supply and then the day of the appointment, they cancel again! It seems working remotely only 4 hours a day is too much for these people. The only reason this isnt 1 star is the fact that when we do have the appointment the person who talks with my son is at least helpful in helping him get his medication. However I would definitely stay away from this practice. Maybe if people move to other places they might put forth in a little effort.

4 months agoFront office staff was super nice and helpful, the Dr. was sweet but there was a language barrier where I had to keep asking the Dr. to repeat the question. And I was given medications but was not explained to continue or not what I was currently on. The attention was not fully on me all she did was stare at her computer and her office smelled like pico de gallo.

7 months agoThe women in the office are absolutely fantastic. They excel at warmly welcoming clients/customers the moment they step into the office. Additionally, the office consistently exudes a delightful fragrance. The staff is incredibly supportive, and there's no judgment, especially for those seeking psychiatric services. I'd love to mention each of them by name because we've developed such friendly relationships during the months I've been under the care of the amazing Dr. Florence. If you haven't experienced Dr. Florence's expertise, you're missing outโshe's exceptional. Dr. Florence is attentive and non-judgmental, creating a comfortable environment. MindDemand is a service I truly appreciate. Kudos to the fantastic women for their outstanding work! P.S. Dr. Sheikha, you're fortunate to have such dedicated women running your practice. I believe it's time for substantial raises in 2024!
