He is Board certified Gastroenterologist and has been practicing Gastroenterology and Hepatology since 1999. He completed his internship and gastroenterology fellowship residency at UF Shands Jacksonville, with an additional 4th year of training forย advanced Endoscopyย at UF Gainesville. While at UF Shands he received the intern of the year award and Chief resident award. He is currently an active staff member at St. Vincentโs Riverside, St. Vincentโs Southside, St. Vincentโs Clay County, Orange Park Medical Center and Memorial Hospital. He has two office locations inย Middleburgย and Jacksonville, FL.
During his spare time he likes to read up on advancements and new medicines, to keep him updated on the newest technology. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.

6 months agoFirst visit never spoke to Dr. Habachi apparently he was in surgery and I saw another Dr. but when I scheduling the colonoscopy he interrupted and gave instructions to staff that was scheduling me. The doctor spoke to me once briefly after the procedure. Everything was delayed that morning I had a appointment 9:30 am left the office almost at 2:00 pm. Some of front office staff was nice some were not . After I asked if there would be any additional costs and they assured me that everything was covered two weeks later I got a bill for $ 300.00 that only one person in the billing department can explain so I had to wait for her to call me and explain the bill for the additional costs. Bad experience, do not recommend.

a year agoDr. Habashi and his staff are totally awesome! Having medical issues and seeking a diagnosis can certainly be a fearful experience. But the professional and kind care of this amazing staff, from the front desk to accounting to post-prep, puts you right at ease. I had such a pleasant experience with this office that I found myself thinking, "wouldn't it be nice if this was my primary care office?" Happy New Year to the team and Digestive Disease Consultants!

3 years agoWhen I came to fla I was nervous about finding a gasterologist I was looking up all kinds of drs. I picked the right one as soon as I met him I new right then he was the right dr. He has been taking care of me for almost 4yrs and heโs excellent in what he does heโs always done the right thing for me
