3 weeks agoCan't give 1 star as I never saw a doctor. But, the front staff is rude. I had an appointment for both urology and nephrology and was told by the urologist I didn't need to see them. So, on August 2nd I called to cancel this appt and told them why. I was still getting reminders so I called this Saturday and told the woman who answers after hours I had cancelled and it still was showing reminders. So, this is the second time cancelling... Got another reminder this morning so I tried to call, no answer. Got a call about 20 minutes later reminding me of my appointment. I told the woman I had cancelled twice and she rudely said "well who did you speak to?" I told her I don't know, but I called twice and spoke once with the office and once with someone after hours and she said "well, we don't get the messages after hours" I then told her that I said I spoke to someone in the office as well. Not sure why this was turning into an argument, when I was just explaining I had cancelled. She was annoyed and basically telling me it's my fault when I was just explaining that I don't know why my appt was still booked. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said "no thank you" and she hung up.

2 weeks agoI wish the rating scale could accommodate a negative number. My dad has been a patient of this practice for over 40 years yet he was not able to get help managing his pain. The staff turns over at a high rate so you donโt really get a primary care doctor that is known to you, itโs going to be someone new. I called yesterday on a Thursday to find out the nurse we were working with was โno longer employed.โ My dad had a sudden onset of worst-in-his-life-pain and were met with nothing but an uphill battle to get our calls returned or can any plan of care to be established, and when he was given pain medicine it was not strong enough. We were told to come in and see an actual doctor - who is only there twice a week. This provider told my dad he would call in more pain medicine and then did not. When I called back later that day, the next day, the following day im told thereโs no other MD covering, only RNs/NP that cannot call in pain medicine. How about a referral to pain management? A stat MRI? Direct admit? Ortho consult - I donโt know guys - this is on you to offer something for my dad. No one asked if he needs mobility aids. No one asked about the 5-10 falls he has had in the last month. No one asked about RX delivery. Not impressed, will be submitting a grievance to insurance Medicare /Careplus - and if youโre reading this and want to know if this office is right for you - the answer is NO. You can come here for 40 years and then they will literally not care at your moment of need. I do want to give a compliment to the gals at the call center/phone bank. I can say with the exception of 1 of my 30 calls, I was met with good empathy and good people that tried to help me help my calls. If my dad does have osteonecrosis or has a fall that breaks his hip I will be looking for a lawyer to discuss medical negligence because I think how you treated my dad was negligent.

3 weeks agoThank you for providing the best health care you could. You were always very thorough. I've left some time between 2013 & 2017. Do you remember everything? I have sort of a "photographic" memory. Maybe doctor Gorospe can remember me telling him, " I don't want you trying any smart-alecky stuff!" Is he still seriously about getting some really big business for our local psychiatrists? There can be times when we don't need one, and I mean to tell it out of love.

2 months agoSome staff are skilled. Clinic has been bought and sold a few times. Turnover is high, I was forced to see a new primary every year I went there because each previous primary left (three new primaries over the course of four years). My last visit, through a bunch of administrative mistakes, I was misdiagnosed with prediabetes and told over the phone by a desk staff person. Eventually I was able to resolve the issue and correct the misdiagnosis after talking to my primary, but something like this should never ever happen. They are functional, hence the two stars, but choose a different clinic if you can.

Office staff, Clinic Administrator and our APRN are exceptional at follow up very professional and helpful. I cannot praise them enough
