6 months agoI just had a colonoscopy with Dr Ammar and I was so impressed by his immediate response to my issues, great bed side manner and overall care! He is a gem of a doctor! I feel very lucky and on a path to better health!

5 months agoNot sure about the bad reviews? But I have been seeing Dr Ammar for over 4 years and I'm happy with his beside manner and his expertise! I've seen a lot of doctors in this town and there are many bad ones, but I can safely say this is a great doctor!

3 years agoJust had my 1st colonscopy done by DrTarek Ammar! I am so grateful and happy that I made the right choice in choosing Dr Tarek for my procedure ! Firstly , new in town n reviewed n researched many doctors in yelp and eventually picked Dr Tarek ! A great call - he has the best bed side manner, very patient n assuring ! At the hospital, he assured me that I will be well taken care of since I am so nervous ! The procedure was fast n Dr Tarek updated me on the results when I was awake ! He is such a confident n professional doctor n still have such great people skill .. him assuring me w most sincerity that I will be in good hands was very comforting ! His surgical teams were all so well trained n skilled .. Angelina concierge was so friendly ! Brooke the nurse who walked me into the ward n went through all the medical details as well as inserting IV needle ( she is so good n I felt nothing ) , John another lab nurse came in n was so assuring n thoughtful ! My anestesia doctor was very pleasant as well ! Everyone seems to know their role n together helped me thru this colonscopy procedure ! Really appreciate your great care! Especially Dr Tarekโฆ thank you very much ! You are an amazing doctor n I highly recommend you n your practice!

3 years agoIt was colonzoscopy time. My 2nd with Dr. Ammar. The prep is the worst so when you arrive you look like you've had a bad case of gastro flu. The staff at Durango Surgery Center are amazing. Dr. Ammar is a true professional and highly respected physician. But he is also very human. He never rushes and even before the procedure we were talking and laughing. I was also impressed by the 2 anesthesiologists on his team. I told them "I don't want to see, hear or feel anything!:" Thank you doctors. Love
