2 months agoThis is the best hospital emergency anyone could have. The nurses were the most polite ever, the doctor( DR Shawn and his team) are the best. RN Morgan is so detailed. The radiologist was so careful. I m impressed. I appreciate their good work and efficiency.

After 2 days they tried to discharge my MOM-and she had Ecoli and was extremely ill couldnโt take but 2 steps with help! I told them I refused this discharge because she was very ill and then they brought security guards to our room! MY mother started to cry and I was devasted !! I have reported this to her insurance and will go further as NO one should be denied or kicked out Iof a hospital!! She is at home can barely walk and has problems swallowing!! And Iโm trying to get her to a rehab Hosipital!! So Unbeleivable!! Deanna

a month agoMy dad is admitted to the hospital. We are not happy with the care. ER was great and the staff were efficient and compassionate. After he got admitted, never have we seen the hospitalist, he never came to check on my dad. Today is the second and he did not stop by. I am a nurse and it is so disappointed to see how a reputed hospital provide the care. I am never bringing any of my family member here.

2 months agoHurricane Beryl shut down Sugar Land, TX. Power was out everywhere. Tuesday, July 9, 2024, my daughter and I took my 94-year-old mother to Methodist Hospital Sugar Land to cool down, a place where we frequently see doctors and occasionally the ER. Temperatures in our homes were reading in the 80s. We looked around for a bench close to an electrical outlet so we could charge our phones while my mother cooled down. A kind hospital staff member in scrubs even suggested several places to plug in my phone. We stayed for about 2.5 to 3 hours. We were quiet and watched TV in a waiting area. Many others around us were doing the same. There were no incidents. The next day, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, I took my 94-year-old mother back to the same hospital because her apartment reached nearly 90 degrees and she began to feel overheated. We sat down elsewhere in two chairs. We sat quietly and disturbed no one. There were others around us doing the same thing, just like the previous day. We were there for about 30 minutes when two Sugar Land police officers and a hospital security guard approached me. One Sugar Land police officer very rudely asked me only one question, if that was my phone plugged into an electrical outlet next to the chairs. After I said yes, he told me that if I didnโt have any business on the premises, that I had to leave immediately and actually gave me a โcriminal trespass warning.โ He NEVER asked me any other questions and NEVER even looked at my mother who was sitting immediately next to me. He showed absolutely no concern for her. She was the reason we were there, for her to cool off!!! The Sugar Land police officer was only concerned with my phone being charged. No hospital staff member ever asked us politely if we had any appointments or if we were visiting anyone or if they could assist us in any way. But instead the hospital called the police to have them throw us out into the heat. โMethodistโ Hospital Sugar Land demonstrated their โChristianโ values by kicking out my 94-year-old mother into the heat after a natural disaster. We were targeted because there were others around us doing the exact same thing!!! Their customer service skills were immoral and egregious. My family and I left horrified. We were treated like criminals. My rating would be NO STARS if that was an option.

a month agoI recently delivered my baby at Houston Methodist Sugarland, and while my doctor and the medical team were fantasticโtrue angelsโthe postpartum care and overall experience have been extremely disappointing. If possible, I would recommend considering a different hospital for delivery. I wish I had chosen elsewhere.
