Dr. Wassim Younes, MD is an internal medicine specialist in Dearborn, MI. He is affiliated with medical facilities Beaumont Hospital Taylor and Beaumont Hospital-Dearborn. He is accepting new patients and telehealth appointments
I was looking for a new primary care doctor and his office is super close to my house. He was running super late to my first appointment and told me about this cool app he uses for his clients. It was literally whatโs app. He told me to schedule my next appointment first thing in the morning, I did and he was still behind and video called me in whatโs app when it was my turn. So he scheduled my next appointment as a telemedicine appointment even though I live ridiculously close to the office. After 15 minutes of waiting I called the office for them to txt him so he knows I was waiting. He started calling me almost 3 hours after my scheduled appointment and tried having it again on WhatsApp. When I told him that wasnโt acceptable he marked me as a no show. It took an entire day and a threat to call state of Michigan to get him to update my records accurately. As a woman I say find ANY other doctor.
I absolutely love my experience when visiting Dr. Younes. The best thing about Dr. Younes is that he doesn't leave the room without ensuring that you feel better than you did before you walked in. He seems very confident with the medical advice he gives you and I always feel better after taking his advice. The waiting times are never bad either, at least in my experiences. Most importantly, he makes me feel like family. If I could give him another star, I would. I always recommend him to my friends.
Dr. Wassim Younes and his staff is wonderful! Dr. Younes is knowledgeable and his resources are like no other physicians I've seen. I have been a Acute care nurse for 25 years and Dr. Younes is by far the best primary care physician I have engaged with. He treats you like family and answers all your concerns with timely treatment and follow ups.
Dr. Younes saw me via remote video call and he was awesome! I scheduled an appointment with the CVS website and within 10 minutes of scheduling the appointment he was helping me. He was polite, empathetic, and was listening to my issues. He doesn't have the awful habit that a lot of doctors have where if you have to take a moment to answer a question the doctor will cut you off and fill in the blank.
I spoke with Dr. Younes through teladoc and was so disappointed and frustrated with my experience. He told me he couldnโt be sure my daughter had a UTI unless I showed him proof from an AZO stick. He agreed that if I proved her condition was in fact a UTI, then he would help us. I uploaded the picture proof to my account and called the teladoc portal. The nurse said the doc would call back. He never did! We had a miserable night with our daughter who simply needed an antibiotic. When I called again the next morning, a very apologetic โmanager of physiciansโ (whoever that is) assured me he would be reported to supervisors. The doctor canโt say one thing and not follow through. He lied to us. Poor practice, poor bedside manner, and a poor experience. Thankfully, I took her to a quick care the next morning and the doc gave me an antibiotic within 5 minutes and sheโs doing great!
