a month agoThank you for taking care of my ill father. Patient care was amazing, he was always being checked on by staff during his time in the ER and when he was admitted. Doctors and nurses made sure he was comfortable, and was working with Houston Methodist to get his medical documents, since he didn't receive the same care, due to not accepting his insurance when told they did. After along struggle doctors got hold of the medical documents that were being withheld, and started treatment immediately. Got referred to a specialist that is very professional. Took the time to explain and answer all questions, and the treatment duration. Amazing hospital and staff.

3 months agoWow, is all I can say! I heard good things about Dr. Harrington. I couldn't give an opinion either way but can say that I was turned away on the day of surgery at 530 in the morning when I arrived due to money!!! And, was told by the receptionist that she would get with the Doctor to see if he would go ahead and push the surgery through and he would arrive at 630 so we waited and we were told the good Doctor did not go ahead with the surgery due to non payment! I waited for what seemed like months for the surgery, got cleared only to be turned away because I didn't have 6k plus laying around! I need a hip replacement and haven't been able to work or do ANYTHING for that matter but lay around in pain that they also did NOTHING for so how would I have 6k plus to give these people that frankly treated me like a 2nd class citizen all the way down to his nurse Ronnie who was rude and snobby every time we had any correspondence until finally I said something to her about maybe quitting and letting someone more pleasant take her position! She apologized and made some comment about how she loves her job and helping their patients. I can't tell... Today I go to MyChart and can't sign in, apparently they blocked me from going into MY information!!! Wow!!! All I can say is WOW!!!! I don't think it's very nice or pleasant to make one feel bad about their situation and that is all these people did!!! All they care about is money and their BMW payment and or house note! They definitely could care less about their patients as far as I can tell due to the way I was treated or, NOT TREATED!!!! I see I got a response from you people, I really see no reason to call that number and be put on hold again as that seems to be a regular thing with you people! Also, my post op appointment was cancelled obviously because the good Doctor cancelled my surgery but it says initiated by patient, that's not true at all!!! The surgery was cancelled by Dr. Harrington which in turn the post op appointment was cancelled! So I didn't initiate a thing! Also, my Dad had written a check for 3 grand what you people wanted and had I known you had to have that before I would get my surgery you would have gotten prior to!!! I haven't been able to get specifics from him but I did call him and tell him to stop payment on it! Another thing is Harrington's office and someone in the financial department there would call nonstop day after day and after the Doctor said no go on the surgery I got a text that my appointment was cancelled and I saw that it stated that it was initiated by me, IT WAS NOT!!!! But since the doctor cancelled that surgery I have not received one call about a thing!!! No rescheduling of the surgery, nothing!!! I don't want that guy cutting on me!!! Doesn't push my surgery through due to non payment because he wanted to go golfing instead of fixing me!!! So no, I am not calling you people to be put on hold AGAIN for your doctor's uncaring bedside manner, or anyone else!!! It's beyond me that you would turn me away for surgery I need because you had not yet received your payment, especially the doctor! Knowing he could have pushed it through and did not was a huge slap in the face!!! I will tell everyone I know to definitely choose another entity for their care and needs!!!! Call you??? Why should I call you people??? I did all I was supposed to, I was there for surgery, on time!!! I was turned away due to non payment and the doctor was then notified and asked what to do and he promptly told them to cancel my surgery!!! End of story, what else do you want to know? If you want to try and rectify the situation you reach out to me! I'm in pain all day and night, can't sleep! I desperately want and need this surgery!!! I pray none of you get avascular necrosis of the left or right hip!!!! And if you do I pray you were treated better than I got from your doctor and staff!!!

3 weeks agoI came in Tuesday October 15th I checked in with the front desk had an appointment at 1pm and they had me wait 3hrs just for them to inform me the doctor never came it was very horrible experience they had me sit there for 3 hrs , l would like to speak to a manager about that situation front desk shouldโve informed me the doctor was not in I would have not wasted my time for 3 hrs especially with elderly patients please make sure to informed patients if the doctor not in please do not have them waiting there for hours just to informed them theyโre not in.

10 months agoI wanted to give a good review to Ms Bradley on the second floor waiting room in general surgery. She had a kind, positive, and beautiful attitude. I was there while my step father had surgery. We watched Ms. Bradley from 10am until 7pm assist patient families with a caring spirit that surpassed anything that I or my family expected. Ms. Bradley is an asset to the hospital environment and humanity. We commend you! "Thank you" the Francis Family

6 months agoBaylor is a great place for medical care. The Drs and staff are very friendly and helpful with the patients. They have always taken pride in the care I was recieving. Good with open communication.
