a month agoWhen we sought Middle Eastern food for a family gathering, we discovered Emerald and decided to order takeaway for a party of nine (4 adults and 5 kids). The experience, from food quality to service, was commendable. We opted for three mixed grill platters, each priced at $55. The portions were generous, ensuring everyone was well-fed. The chicken and kafta stood out with their rich flavors and tender texture, although the meat skewers were somewhat small in comparison. The accompanying rice and salad were fresh and flavorful, adding a delightful balance to the meal. The only minor letdown was the fries, which didn't quite meet the same standard as the rest of the dishes. Service at Emerald was efficient and friendly, contributing to an overall positive experience. Additionally, the restaurant offers plenty of parking, making it a convenient option for those driving. In summary, Emerald delivered a satisfying Middle Eastern culinary experience, particularly excelling with their mixed grill offerings. We look forward to dining there again and exploring more of their menu.

a week agoWe really enjoyed our time at this unique restaurant! We were looking for a good place for drinks and hooka before a movie and boy are we glad we found this place! The drinks were so fresh and delicious (we had mojitos) and the hooka was great quality. The atmosphere is very welcoming and eclectic. We canโt wait to come by to try their food and see the belly dancing at night! Highly recommended!

a week agoMy husband and I love trying out unique restaurants and this place was nothing short of lavish and impressive! Wow. The moment I walked in, I was stunned with the beautiful decor and attention to detail, but that was nothing compared to the flavor of food and amazing service we received. Chef Omar is from Morocco and his dishes will delight your senses with an explosion of flavor. I love seasoning but I'm not a fan of spicy dishes (no ghost pepper for me), however his meals were spiced to perfection with such a savory balance. We ordered the family style sampler, lemon chicken tagine, & the tagine kofta with eggs. Me lemon chicken tagine melted in my mouth and the savory lemon garlic olive sauce was magical. We topped off the evening with Moroccan pastries and the tea, (oh my gosh heavenly) the Moroccan mint tea, was the best tea I've ever tasted (and I have a cabinet full of teas). This restaurant is a gem, and then I find out they have cooking classes. Say less! I don't care that I live 45 minutes away, I'll find the time to take a class. Thank you for making our 18th anniversary 1 to remember for a lifetime.

6 months agoWe came as a group during conference and we all loved our food. Staff very friendly and courteous. Staff was very accommodating and suggestions were right now. One of my colleagues who is not really into meat couldn't stop talking about loaded fries with chicken. Portions are huge. Moroccan mint tea with baklava cheesecake was a great finish to out Moroccan food adventure.
