2 weeks agoHorrible place to go. After 4 hours of waiting and try to be seen, a nurse came and told me that 4 hours are nothing and they will see me when they have the time. She literally told me in my face that they donโt care and they do what they want because thatโs their hospital. You have to be kiddingโฆ! Rude staff and useless people with 0 knowledge in there. The nurses know nothing and their medical skills are literally almost 0%. If you ever have an emergency donโt go here or you will die. If the hospital ever care about their patience they need to re-evaluate their staff and get rid of all the useless people they currently have. This place is just waiting to be sued and they deserve nothing less. I donโt even know how this people took an oath and swear to served and protect people when they are not even close to do that.

a month agoI went to The Er at Aberdeen last night. It was my second time there. My first experience was that I waited a long time but received wonderful care. This time I was taken straight back and treated fantastic by everyone. I want to say a special thanks to nurse Olson who went above and beyond and Dr. Nichols who also provided excellent care.

a month agoI just returned from the Aberdeen Upper Chesapeake with my adult son who was having medical emergency. Our experience here with check in to check out was amazing. I do need to sing my praises for Nurse Evelyn. In addition to being very knowledgeable, she was incredibly kind and comforting. She is a true asset to the hospital.

4 months agoAs someone who has previous nursing experience in an ED elsewhere, DO NOT GO HERE! My husband brought me here because it was the closest hospital and I was having a very severe problem. First off, the entrance is unmarked and at the back of the building. We walked in and nobody greeted us or showed us where to go. I collapsed in a chair and my husband found the desk he needed to check me in. Not one person came to check on me while I was literally screaming in pain. We got called back very quickly, but by that I mean called into a room and left alone for 2.5 hours. Not one person came to check on me. My room has its own bathroom which was nice until my husband went to use it and the toilet was filled with vomit from a previous patient. I'm embarrassed and mortified for this place. I've been here almost 12 hours now and my nurse has been in my room a total of 3 times, all 3 times were with Dr orders to give me meds. She's not friendly and clearly doesn't want to be here. The dr himself is very compassionate but didn't really answer any of my questions and is sending me to upper chesapeake in Bel air for monitoring even though I've been being "monitored" here almost 12 hours. I know management won't care about this review because their response is the same 3 variations on all the other bad reviews, but I'm more so writing this review as a warning to other patients looking to come here. Go literally anywhere else. This place is nice if you're looking to come and take a hospital selfie, it's very pretty, but the care is the worst I've ever seen.

4 months ago4.5 hours wait time so far in the ER and still haven't been seen. Reception said it could be a few hours up to an overnight wait time. Waiting room has 2 other people waiting, so not overly busy. I've noticed that the hospitals response to most, if not all issues with wait times is to go to an urgent care. Urgent care is not open at 12:30 am so is not an option. I would highly recommend not going to this ER if you have a non life threatening issue. Ended up being over 7 hours in the waiting room before being scene. And as far as being seen depending on the severity of illness/ injury, the doctor that did see me said I should have been seen much sooner due to the severity of the wound that I had.
