Outstanding Greek spot in Brooklyn! I ordered the special which consisted of tender lamb with okra, rice and pita bread. The sauce was very flavorful! Everything was delicious. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere was great. They kept the windows and doors open so there was a cool breeze coming in. Great first meal during my NY trip!
I love the Fort Hamilton area. Mom, who is wheelchair bound, and I came across this gem. (If the doors were not opened, and a chalkboard, street menu outside, we would have passed by it.) We ordered spinach pie, cous cous w/chicken which came with salad and pita bread (the good kind!) Dessert was warm baklava. Delish! The food is made fresh, so you have time to relax an chat. I came back a week later for lunch. I ordered the Thursday special which was spinach pie, falafel, baba gahanuj, hummus, tahini sauce, salad and warm pita. Fabulous! Topped with honey cake. This has become my favorite place.
I love love coming to First Oasis , Iโm usually a picky eater. This restaurant has the best fillet of salmon. Soo juicy , super yummy. My plate is always fresh! โค๏ธ Theyโre lemonade is amazing itโs my favorite. Customer service , is so lovely, the workers here are sweethearts.
The chicken skewer was amazing and very delicious, it came with pita bread and tahini sauce and I asked for barbercue sauce on the side. The food was 5/5; however, I will give 4 overall because the drink tasted odd. If I go back again, I might get a soda in a can instead. The lemonade was too sweet and tasted weird.
