I have tried every single halal food truck and restaurant around here and nyc, and I can say without a doubt that this man sells the best food. Not only is his chicken/lamb over rice the best, but all of his other items are just as good. His wife makes the falafel which I normally don't get, but he told me to try it and it was the best I've had. To make it even better, he has a lot of vegetarian options which most of the other places never have. Other than his food, the owner is super nice and respectable. He always greets everyone and he remembers his customers. I will be posting pictures of his food over time.
UPDATE: He got the new truck, and it has 100 Items. He's selling personal pizzas, definitely one of a kind!
I have been eating here ever since 2022, the taste has always got better and better. Now for us he has got all the indian cuisine and dishes are fresh and tasty.
Must try place in Newark.
By far the best chicken over rice I have eaten in 7 yrs been in Newark! Tried my taste buds everywhere but the food here has come pretty close to get my eyes watery with the spice level I always want. :) best service and delicious foodโฆ..Must Try! Best part about this place is the Owner here is really respectful, smiling and greets you whenever you even pass by the truck. He remembers his customers which is the best quality. This is easily the best halal truck on that street without any doubt. I have been craving for best halal food to try on and trust me this place is definitely for you!
Awesome owner, the food is fantastic. The most delicious food you can eat at NJIT AT SNY TRUCK. the service is amazing and the prices are really moderate.
Great chef, great food, and great atmosphere. One of many food trucks that I never went to but I'm so glad that I came here. Seasoning on this food is out of this world and the chef is by far the friendliest and the most funniest man I have ever met! I plan on coming back every now and then just to eat his food because it's that good ladies and gentlemen!
